Too goddamn funny, unless HGH Manning finds a team to play for next season he will end his growth hormone aided career tied forever with Brett Favre at 186.

I may never stop laughing.

Brady will likely pass that in 2017 as he currently has 172 wins.

When taking the playoffs into account, Favre has 199 wins, Manning has 197 wins, and Brady has 193 wins. Brady will likely become the all time wins leader next season and with a much better win percentage.

Brady will finish next year with 188 wins.

It's funny how all stats and records are discussed in regular season only, and when you add playoffs you have to qualify it. Why does postseason just stop counting by default? We should just say that Favre has 199 wins and that's the record (for now).

Because it's not fair as not every QB gets to playin the postseason.

Either that or it makes Brady look to good and the GOAT discussion would be pointless as there'd be little to discuss:cool:

But having a lot of regular season wins means you get the chance to gain post-seaon wins!
It was really meant to be a sarcastic/everyone gets a trophy comment.

Postseason wins are the best type of wins.

If Peyton wants to play next year, there will be prospective buyers. Guaranteed. At least one in our division alone. They won't look at Manning as 'one and done' and 'hurler of poultry'... they'll see a guy they think can get them to the Promised Land.

Which for most of them is just the playoffs. ;)

It is about the rings.. that most important statistic of all.

BTW Brady owns just about every post season record... here are a few.

Play off passes completed #12 683..... Peyton* 598
Play off pass att #12 1085...Peyton* 935
Play off pass yards #12 7345.. Peyton* 6800
Passing TD's #12 53.. Montana 45, Peyton* 38

I mean we all know Peyton is going to end up in a Jet uniform.

They're going to bring him in, draft a QB in the 2nd or 3rd, cut bait with Geno, watch Fitz walk and then everyone will talk about how genius it is that their rookie QB gets to sit and learn watching one of the best. While that 'one of the best' throws > 15 interceptions and does worse than Fitz.

The degree of difficulty goes way up in the post season, and the margin for error gets way, way less.

The pressure against competent, talented, very tough teams in a single-game elimination looms over every moment.

Post season wins deserve their own elevated level of recognition. It's totally different than facing a 2-5 Titans team in week 8 with zero ramifications and nice comfy weather.

Post season wins don't count? Good thing Manning doesn't have many post season wins.

Even with throwing the last 2 games :)
