Rob Gronkowski injury

Rappaport (via 98.5) tweeted that Gronk may not miss a single game as a result of the injury. They're saying one game would likely be the most. Again, grain of salt is needed here. But it doesn't change that these are all encouraging reports since the injury. Plus, they say the surgically repaired knee is usually even stronger than the regular knee (unless you're Sam Bradford).

I would still sit him for our next Two Games we should be able to beat those scrub Teams without him.

Nah gonna need him if he can go, can't rule out the refs going one sided again this year.

if gronk can play against philly then i think he will.
he hates being on the sidelines...can't blame him after he missed so much time in the past
Were it not for the fact that the O-Line has been so inconsistent and our whole WR corp is knocked out, I'd even be okay with him sitting out against Philly as a precaution. But if he can go, then we need him on the field. We still have a #1 seed to chase.

The Gronk injury news is a miracle.

Now get to 14-1 and hopefully be able to rest everyone including Tom week 17.

That would make for two weeks off (with the first-round bye). Not sure I like that.

Great news! (Especially for my fantasy team.) Now is there any way it'd be beneficial for Gronk to rest his knee week 16?

Thank goodness!!! If he is able to play against Philly, does BB play him? Might be wise to maybe play him a quarter and then sit him unless he is needed. Get Chandler more reps.

if gronk can go, then he has to play....he can get injured in any game anyway since defenders are targeting his legs.
can't prevent an injury..im sure gronkowski wants to be out there.

We need gronk for that texans game i think. We might dodged a bullet. We need other guys to step up.

"Might have dodged a bullet"? Injury wise I don't think you can dodge a bullet greater than that, bro.

give chandler more reps so he can drop more balls? lol

My hope is that with more reps, he will drop fewer and develop more chemistry :) Brady seemed more than willing to keep targeting him, but he didn't have very many other options, either.
And you can combine that with the fact that the deep sideline routes that they had him running 88 times (I thought of that number randomly and then remembered it was Chandler's number and so I'll just leave it in), do not cater well to his strengths.

haha you have more patience with him than I do

Texans are heating up and playing really well on defense. They are not a scrub team.

Ya a defense BB knows very well because it's practically the one he ran for many years.
