For all of you who claim that Brady didn't do his share of denying early on because he was 'mislead' by lies.... let me refresh your memory to his response to questions regarding the offensive formations used in the divisional round against the Ravens: Brady was very amused and some might even say, a little '****y' with his response when he said "Maybe they should read the rule book". - To me, this is Brady playing his innocent and confidence card. THAT'S what Brady looks like when he doesn't give two $hits about what the media, kids, or opposing teams think: HE KNOWS they didn't do anything illegal during that game, and his demeanor shows it.
OTOH, when the whole deflategate saga first broke out, I didn't see an amused Brady one bit. He seemed very rattled, confused... almost someone lost in words, caught doing something wrong, yet can't understand how he got caught. I'm not saying he did anything, but his initial response was very very weak. Reminds me of my kids response when I catch them lying. I can read the 'oh ****, I just got caught lying' emotion, right on their faces. And THAT conveys 'lying'. Again, I'm not saying he did anything wrong. But his loss of words (for a lack of a better term), his silence in the following months, the lack of utter denying and strong condemnation of the allegations in a public presser (Facebook doesn't count, we're not kids), just doesn't sit right in the court of public opinion... and you what? If I wasn't such a team homer, it would be very hard for me to believe him as well.
