So the general points are Goodell is racist and is trying to hide it and Mike Kensil is a typical bitter Jet?

Both being fired at the end of this would be the best.

Mort is a coward of epic proportions. He was never going to name names. Why not take away the Pats fans and others questioning why he has never addressed this issue? No he will increase the rhetoric against him. I expect him to get blasted locally and by Florio.

As for Dennis naming Kensil, it means nothing unfortunately. Tom Curran has been screaming this for months and nothing has happened.

Kraft should sue Kensil personally for defamation. This would be his way around suing the league which will piss off his fellow owners and still trying to get his pound of flesh.

Well I think what they are saying is Goodell is overreacting to the perception among some black players that he is racist, so he is coming down extra hard on "the golden boy."

Dennis naming Kensil really means very little. It is nothing new. Curran has been saying this for months.

I said in another thread. Kraft should sue Kensil personally and not the League for defamation. That would be his shot against the League and still not actually suing the League which might tarnish his legacy and piss off the 31 other owners.

As I listen in to WEEI for the first time in 5 years waiting to learn who's buried in Al Capone's vault......I actually am starting to believe this is a promotional stunt. Any unveiling of NFL mystery men is massive news....news that would break in a nano second......not..."turn in at 7:45 and see what's behind the curtain". I can understand why Mortenson backed out of the ambush....a highly teased ambush. Maybe D & C were tired of being stonewalled by their weekly guest and decided to shake the branches and see what falls. I applaud them if that is the case.
Regardless, they have me listening ....so WEEI wins this day.....news or no news.

The suits at ESPN or his lawyers talked him out of the interview. Tom Brady and the fans deserve to know the truth about who and what was said to him in regards to the footballs.

If this is the case, then Goodell is a very STUPID MAN. Those black payers actually did something to deserve punishment. Brady didn't do anything. Lord I hope these bums get sued.

To clarify an earlier point:

Dennis just said "Kensil is the one, I'm told, who leaked the story." (emphasis mine)

Earlier I stated that it sounded like Dennis was just repeating the same speculation we have all been making for months. Just now he stated that he was told this information. He didn't give an ounce of clarity regarding who told him, but it seems he is reporting something he heard instead of just speculating.

This is all about protecting the NFL brand and the $20b or so ESPN is paying the NFL for broadcasting rights.
