Patriots sign Tarell Brown

Butler/Brown isn't that bad of a duo.

started on a superbowl team...made the mistake of joining the **** raiders.

Isn't he tiny, like 4'11" tiny ?

Nice. I don't expect much from him, and wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the team, but camp competition is always a good thing. Means a better chance that whoever makes the cut is actually good.

He started on three elite SF defenses and also on a Raiders defense that wasn't terrible. Curious on the $.

My bad, was thinking of someone else, he's 5'11 190. Hey, the more competition the better, it's not like we have a ton of CBs

I like it. Not super excited but I thought they should have signed him a while ago. He has as good a chance to make the 53 as any CB on this team not named Butler/Ryan (both I think are locks due to experience).

If I had to guess I feel like him and Fletcher will fight it out for 1 spot.

2011 was pretty piss poor. Not that that's saying very much for this unit.

As for Brown, camp competition. Nothing more, nothing less.

Difficult to say because in projecting performance there are important question marks next to most of these names.
