Yes, they are -- as is most of my tweetstream (which is media and non-media).
I'm not saying the "'Deflator' means trying to lose weight" claim is false. I'm saying that to the extent NE is trying to use this rebuttal as a PR counteroffensive they should have left it out and saved it for any upcoming lawsuit.
Because like it or not, what's happening is that the media and others is focussing on that, mocking it, and dismissing/overlooking the rest of the rebuttal.
I thought the NFL suspended them.
After a decade of defending this team the pats finally won the sb last season and I thought no sb could ever feel as good. But if the pats win the much hyped super bowl 50 I would die a happy man.
If they ignore it, they get lambasted for trying to gloss over the reference.I'm not saying the "'Deflator' means trying to lose weight" claim is false. But even with faulty science, Pats still don't have good explanations for why they didn't make McNally available, or why Brady stonewalled
Bertrand was trained by Felger. Hasn't even had time to read it and he's got a contrarian reaction.Bertrand already trashing it. I could curious about responses. I'll give up on any media considering this.
It's worth nothing except in the court of public opinion. If what the Pats say is accurate then we have an even better chance of beating the NFL both on the suspension and perhaps more.FWIW the general public at least on twitter seems to not buy the pats explanation of 'deflator' word for someone losing weight and seem to be mocking patriots explanation.

If they provide an explanation, the media and twitterverse (most of whom are anti-Brady) do what they are doing.
First you need to change you screen name to 5thRing-Hunt
SI's Andrew Brandt asks an IMHO very reasonable question -- if Jastremski's and McNally's behavior are as innocent as the rebuttal claims it is, why did NE indefinitely suspend them even before the NFL punishment came down?
Thats a good question. Could be that the NFL mandated it and the Pats went along because they had to.Why did the Pats suspend those guys? If they actually did.
Ha. I know. I've been trying to figure out how to do that. Do you know how I can do that?
seems like deflator explanation not going well
