You have to be kidding..? It just goes to show that they want the patriots off the main stage, from a business perspective it makes sense they are dominating the NFL but wtf? Taking a little air out of a ball and you hit Tom FING Brady with a 4 game suspension when other people have openly talked about putting more air into the footballs than the league mandates.. Im f...... pissed off.

If brady does get wacked for 4 games and Jimmy steps in and performs amazing this could be disastrous for Brady. I don't see that happening but this is way out there.

I wonder if this was Peyton Manning.. Would they have wacked him with 4 games? And not only that but this gives the national media ammo up the ying yang.. this is harsh.

Fan since I was 8 in 1976 and I'm done. It has nothing to do with being a bandwagon fan. It has to do with a league office that clearly has an agenda and has taken all the enjoyment out of it.

Let's recap.

Ray Lewis accessory to murder 250K fine.
Ray Rice knocks his wife out 2 games.
Chargers put stick em' on a towel for their receivers 25K
Vikings and Panthers heat balls.........just don't do it again.
Pats more likely than not deflate balls on circumstantial evidence and its 4 games for Brady, million dollar fine plus a first and a forth round pick.

Ya that's worth sticking around for. I'll pick a college team and get rid of the BS.

we don't get their first rounder. We would have to give that up. We'd keep our first rounder though. They didn't like us getting Jerod Mayo in 2008.

If Goodell is going to be the arbitrator in an appeal why would he reduce the sentence ?

BB is keeping his mouth shut. The fact he wasn't slapped with a Sean Payton "ignorance is not an excuse penalty" is the only silver lining in this disaster.

That's most likely true. But I would still love to have one because BB is the only one who handled all this nonsense the right way in the first place.

If it were Peyton Manning, they would create a new rule making it legal.

The league apparently feels the 4 time SB winning QB is less valuable than the mindless bureaucrat.

People have spent hundreds of millions to watch Brady. If Goodell fell off a cliff tomorrow only his mom would notice.

The greatest QB of this generation has been suspended four games with his reputation ruined and the most succesful team in the league has been fined $1 million and had 1st and 4th round draft picks taken away because a bunch of jealous NFL executives forgot 6th grade science that explains the relationship between temperature and air pressure. Accurate recap. Makes total sense for the way Goodell handled the patriots, no bias or anything.

Oh. I think you'll get a response from B. Belichick. I don't think we've even begun to see the news that comes out of this.

Very rarely are you this gobsmacked by events you can see coming from a country mile away.

I really hope, but am not confident, that Kraft lets them have it with both barrels. How you can sit on your thumbs while your team's (and GOAT QB's) reputation gets tactically nuked is beyond my comprehension.
