Kenny Bell, WR, Nebraska

Him and McBride are the only receivers I really want for us in the draft (other than Jaelen strong)

Give me one of Bell/McBride day 3 and DeAndre Smelter to redshirt for a year, and It think we will have really added a ton of talent at WR at very low cost. If only it happens ...

Can we snag this guy at the end if the third?

Sweet baby Jeebus, I hope he at least sent flowers to that Wisconsin DB's funeral afterwards.

Amen. These 3 have been my top 3 fits for the past two months.
Quite frankly, I hope were able to work out some kind of trade in the first 3 rounds that will allow us to acquire another 2-4 picks in rounds 4-7. I really would love to have all 3. I would gladly get rid of some of our bench WR's to make room for these guys.

I find it funny he has slipped under the radar to so many of you for so long.

Ive mentioned him in a few post over the past two months. I call him a straight baller. He just appears to be one of those players who's in sync with the game of football.

The more McBride film I see, the more I want him on my team... so explosive!

I don't know if "Explosive" is the right word. More like concentrated and flat out amazing.

explosive is a great desecration for a player like Devin Smith, or DGB.

McBride is just an amazing bad ass who has elite body control and ball tracking skills.

I'll take DGB.

Let me explain something about DGB

Jaelen strong ran a 4.45 and had a 43 in vertical, with 32.5 inch arms. Lets not forget he's 6'3 218 with a frame to add up to another 5-10 ponds, if he really wanted to. He has great ability to adjust and track the ball, both with his body and legs, then finish by high pointing and out jumping opponents. He's honestly the closest thing to Dez Bryant I've seen in awhile.
DGB basically ran a 4.5, was 6'5 237, with 32 inch arms, and had a 33 inch vertical. That means Jalen strong is not only faster, but he could out jump DGB by a full 8 inches in a jump ball situation. That coupled with the fact that he has no character concerns, and is also a much better, all around player, with a proven track record, make him a much better decision.

I wasn't very high on Jaelen Strong until today. I always knew he was good, but had my doubts. However, he did great at the combine today. Those are some elite numbers. He went up against some of the better College corners in this years draft (Marcus Peters and a few others) and did well.

Id much rather have him then DGB. DGB is being over hyped.

I should've clarified that I was speaking about his KR ability, but he does stretch the field on offense as well. As you noted he has excellent ball control to high point the ball.

I totally agree, plus he played football last year unlike DGB. Strong would be the only receiver I would take early on, Then Bell/McBride later. This should bee a Meat and Potatoes draft strictly.

I really like Strong too, but there are questions about his route running which I'm not sure would go over well in NE. At the moment I'm obsessed with the prospect of having Gronk and DGB in the redzone at the same time. Would be unstoppable.

Im sorry, but again Id much rather have Jaelen strong in the red zone. Did you not see the part where I stated that Strong can out jump DGB by a full 8 inches. On top of it, he use to play basketball and knows how to use his body to box players out. Flso the strength of Jaelen Strongs route running game has to come in the red zone routes (back shoulders, and slant route jump balls)

DGB is getting all this hype because he was listed at "6'6" for a long time. which would've made him the tallest elite receiver. However he only measured in at 6'5 with mediocre results in every other area. That coupled with his troubles, his lack of other skill sets, and the fact that he hasn't played any football in over 1 year, gives him just about 0 % chance of being a patriots
