he hung in there. he could've been a sour grape. he could've quit on us. but he hung in there. now he is a SB champ. hope you stay as a pat for a long time.

He did hang in there. You have to give him more credit for that. A lot of mentally weak, spoiled prima donna's would of quit, sulked, whined, become a locker room problem, but Amendola vanished, hung in there, worked hard, started finding a place returning kicks, then showed up huge when we needed him to as a receiver. Patriot Way alive and well.

He didn't have the best regular season, but there is no way we get to the championship let alone win it without his play in the postseason. Thanks Danny boy!

outside of brady, hes the guy i am happiest for. Been dumped on for two straight years, and all he does is come up with the biggest plays in the two biggest games.

Local boy is never paying for another drink

agreed, to recap....

2013 regular season: 2 TDs
2014 regular season: 1 TD
2014 postseason: 3 TDs

Amendola's post-season was what most people envisaged when he was first signed.

Moving forward, if the numbers are right and if he can stay healthy, Amendola will become an even more valuable member of the Patriots.

He's been big this post-season. That's a credit to Amendola.

I really hope they can restructure his contract so he can stay.

I would bring him back but not at the amount that he is making

Danny "X-factor" Amendola.

Amendola was awful until the second Jets game. He played much better starting then, and it was good for him to get the TD tonight. I don't know if he'll be back next year, but he at least made a bit of a case for it, even if it requires a renegotiation.

But that's for the (likely near) future. For tonight/today, I hope he just sits back and basks in the moment.

Amendola was a plastic bag, drifting through the wind. BUT HE'S A FIREWORK NOW!!!!

This. All of this. How many times did we hear BB say "nobody works harder than Danny" ? I think BB loves DA. Does he stick around ? I sure hope so. But, his salary is relatively high (when considering they need every penny to keep some key DBs) and Edleman has been the man, playing the WW role (and more)... Hope DA is back, loved his effort since Thanksgiving, just wondering what numbers BB will offer, cause someone will want DA at the salary he is making now - if he gets released.

Edelman, Vereen and Amendola came to play last night.

LaFell. It's French for The Fell.

One of the better post game images was his girlfriend hugging him.
That was very touching, so happy for them. They've been through a lot.

By the way, Sterling Sharpe on one of the weekend preview shows picked Amendola for MVP. Not quite but interesting choice.

Microtron was huge last night, paid off his contract.

Great playmaker. This time there was no drop, wait, not at the right time though.

Bought an Amendola shirt before 2012 and was embarrassed to own it up until the Ravens game. Nobody plays harder than Danny boy. Also fun fact, Posteason touchdowns : Danny Amendola 3 Marvin Harrison 2.
