Source: Two NFL Teams are livid w/ #Colts for bringing this to light because of scrutiny itll bring to their QBs PSI preference on the ball

I wonder what teams they are?
Denver probably. Funny thing is, if it had come out that Denver had done it Peyton probably gets praised for his work ethic and just taking that extra step to be prepared.

A deflated ball will travel less with less define spiral... right?

Wait a minute.... Hi Peyton Manning.:D

What the hell is going on here. People are making sht up and I have a feeling this is going to end badly for the Pats.

That is exactly what happened during the 72 hr period from week one (07) on Sunday through Weds of the following week during spygate.

The media and haters made up a bunch of stories--most of them untrue.

I knew they would get some backlash from teams about their QB's preferences now possibly being ruined. Colts are now the whiny snitching *****es of the NFL.

And we are being the sacrificial lamb.
Which feels like ****.

If there is no video proof of anybody deflating the balls, there should be zero penalty.

I'm sure it won't go down that way, but that's the way it should be.

Goodell is so under pressure to look like a tough guy, he'll overreact.

I suspect a mid round draft pick at minimum.

If the NFL comes out and says "the Patriots by regulation must provide balls that are to official regulation and they didn't perform that task"?? I have no problem with a 25,000 fine (or whatever monetary fine is necessary to emphasize it is on the team to keep the footballs properly). However, anything they speak of or do that lends itself to this being 'cheating' would be an outrage for this largely phony, illogical, selective outrage "scandal".

Of course we are. Same as in 07. The moment NE stops being good, we wouldn't be in trouble for this stuff. We will be the whipping boy, like always to prove a point, and that is unjust and wrong, but nothing we can do about it.

It didn't happen and this stuff shouldn't be working on a "strike system". Otherwise Baltimore would have become a defunct franchise years ago.

Agree, but it makes me realize how much hate their is against the Pats. This guy is spreading lies and making crazy allegations. I am convinced that this is all the result of Irsay being made that he can't beat the Pats.

Also, these balls that were under-inflatted, when where the measured. At half time? After the game?

Funny, someone I talked to today who doesn't even like football thought this only made the Colts look bad for losing that badly and then complaining about underinflated footballs.

I never thought I would hate a team more than a hate the Jest or a team QB by fivehead.

Colts have proven that wrong! All the blowouts in recent years are exponentially more satisfying now. Can't wait for next years!

I would put money on the Colts turning in footballs to be inspected were aired up to 13.5 psi and the Pats went with 12.5. Assume that the balls were stored in an 80 degree room then going out into 50 degree weather would certainly decrease the psi by 1 or more. This in my opinion is why the Pats balls were under range and the Colts were in range. I say this because I doubt the 11 balls were exactly 11psi. Maybe I am wrong but this is what I am going with. I expect BB to get suspended some games next year. The commish is going to try and save face by puttin the straps to BB.

If true, we can eliminate the colts obviously and likely the ravens if it's also true that they tipped off the ravens.

I have to assume based on how much he throws and his comments that the packers and Rodgers are one of those teams.

Maybe the Broncos and manning?

Might be the Giants as Eli has said he likes his footballs worked a certain way.

I still really like Andrew Luck. A very classy guy. Its their coke head owner

I bet coke head didn't think about that when he whined.

GB is obviously team 1. I am going to say team 2 are the Giants. robbomango posted this earlier in the thread:

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/24/s...-are-months-in-making.html?pagewanted=1&_r=2&

Seems like a good guess on the second team. And, while Pats fans despise the Giants, the Pats organization and the Giants organization don't seem to hate each other at all. After all, they constantly choose to play each other at the 4th preseason game.

Of course he didn't. He was too liquored up and high on oxy n coke typing away proverbs on ****ing twitter.

I came to this thread to highlight, as Joey mentioned 10 or so pages ago, that the Nfl.com website has nothing related to this nonsense other than a story about Vikings coach Zimmer saying it wasn't a big deal and Browner saying it wasn't a big deal.

Not saying what the implications are but it's clear the NFL is at least portraying this via its website as a non-issue until the investigation is resolved.

I can't believe how crazy this thread has gotten. It's gone from reports on the findings from ONE source that ultimately are still inconclusive to conflicting reports that can't all be true to taking it as a given that BB signed off on it all.

I don't blame anyone for their reactions either: I know they come from a place of passion for the team and we as a fanbase have been royalty violated by the media and their utter childishness the past few days. I just think this is so clearly overblown that there is no point worrying about it until we get actual information, and regardless of the outcome I'm going to enjoy the sh*t out of this Super Bowl run.

'Cause there's only one 'um and that's f#@k 'um, right?

There's other players out there that have spoken similar things as the Vikes coach and Browner (McNabb, Quinn, Leinart to name a few). Look, many other coaches and players dislike the Patriots too. To have this many saying 'I call BS on this scandal' means even more. And it is these people speaking up, as stupid as this sounds/is, should be a sufficient proverbial wind that keeps the NFL from making a thoughtless PR based punitive decision (based on media and morons en masse). Under Spygate there were simply too few of the Jimmy Johnsons out there who had the fortitude to speak the truth about Spygate. Fortunately, in that aspect, that charade is so far not playing out like this charade.
