But but but the NFL is all in on it from Krafty Bob's pocket. We all know how much Goodell loves the Pats. Look at that 1st round pick he took from them from doing something the rest of the league clearly wasn't doing. It's sad that even this site is perpetuating the idea that kicking balls can be tampered with. They can't.
People trying to blame this on the NFL, or the Colts, or aliens, for example. Last night, we actually had someone *****ing about Mike Reiss, of all possible media people.
Problem is that most of the negativity is coming true....That and people stressing out over this and losing sleep.
What people don't realize is the more they click on all these articles (mostly negative articles), the more these websites will produce said articles.
If people don't like all the negativity, stop clicking on all these articles. Otherwise, don't take it too seriously.
You're overreacting in five years we are going to laugh at how silly this is.
We're the Patriots. We apparently deliberately cheated before. So we must be cheaters again.
Not sure how to handle this as a fan if it all is indeed true. I'll be watching the Super Bowl (which btw is a must win. a loss would totally destroy us). But beyond that I feel sick. The logistics of this don't make a lot of sense either. Is Belichick seriously dumb enough to take the risk of tampering with not 1, 2 or 3, but ELEVEN (11) footballs after being approved by the officials? Really? At home, against a team that they've blown out the past 3 meetings? Who have glaring weaknesses that they've exploited over & over again?
And as much as "everyone does it" sounds like an excuse...IT'S NOT. IT'S F*CKING FACTUAL.
This ****ing sucks for many reasons, but mainly is this:
If we lose the super bowl everyone is gonna say how cheaters never win and that it's karma.
If we win, everyone is gonna say there's an asterisk next to it because we cheated blah blah
And even if the league says we didn't know or it wasn't deliberate, you know the damage has already been done. Fools are gonna say godell gave us a free pass and sweeped it under the rug.
It's a lose-lose any possible way you spin it

I feel similarly, I was a living in CA and a Sacramento Kings fan for the debacle game 6 against the Lakers and I quit the NBA and never went back. Done it before and would do it again if I get fed up enough. His precept was Brady being suspended for the SB, in which case Patriot fans wouldn't be laughing, and as I said I wouldn't watch the game and doubt I would ever again invest the time to bother following an NFL season again. I wouldn't see the point when all we end up with is this garbage. There are plenty of other things I could be doing and I would probably devote my time to those things.
Perception is reality.
