The OFFICIAL Patriots vs. Saints Post-Game Thread

I know its probably beat to death in this thread, and by me lately, but I still can't stand McDaniel's play calling. He abandons the run so quick and not only that why is Ridley constantly being sidelined?

I'm not sure I can square that analysis with a game where the Pats ran the ball 32 times, with 20 of those carries by Ridley (coming off an injury).

Hope it loads.

holding on offense. helmet to helmet on amendola was not called.

if amendola wasn't a defenseless receiver, meaning it was not the moment after a catch, then there are no helmet to helmet flags (example Ridley getting blown up last year).

Last time we played Rob Ryans D was the Dallas game a couple of years ago, it ended on a similar note, I even remember the look of defeat on his face...:D

Poor Rob Ryan. He must have been in pain. I almost feel bad for him...Almost LMAO. :D

In other news, Gronk was seen in Patriots Place buying presents for Brady and Thompkins for taking a lot of the attention off him in the upcoming week.

Re: Re: The OFFICIAL Patriots vs. Saints Post-Game Thread

I'm done defending Dobson. Rookie or not, you can only watch a WR drop so many passes on his hands before you conclude that he sucks.

I thought Dobson was really impressive today, he made some big time receptions that someone who sucks would not be able to make.

Re: Re: The OFFICIAL Patriots vs. Saints Post-Game Thread

Some of the names not being credited but should:

McCourty - When Talib went down he went straight on to Graham one on one most plays and we hardly missed a beat. We definitely missed his presence at Safety getting everyone organized but he did a very good job on Graham as well.

Vellano and Jones - Those two UDFA Rookies were out there batteling for the entire game. they had their good and bad plays sure. But congratulations to them for sticking in there and coming up with good solid defensive plays when we needed them the most.

Vellano actually led the team in combined tackles which is even more impressive considering he is a DT.

defense still playing great. my only concern with this team is injuries. its difficult enough without Wilfork. now Kelly misses this week, and Mayo and Talib both go down.

not to Mention Amendola out again (thankfully Edelman plays a similar role, and Collie). and Connolly thrusting Cannon in (struggled a lot when he first came in but seemed to adapt pretty well).

it's hard to imagine us losing any more players but we seem to lose multiple every week.

Every time I see that expression on Rob Ryan's face, I think of "The Dude" from "The Big Lebowski". :D

I have a million things to say after this win (beating Brees for the first time. Defeating the last undefeated team in the NFC), but I'll just go with somethin simple.

There's no better team to be a fan of than this one, win or lose. When I die (hopefully a million years from now lol), my coffin needs to be painted red, white and blue and decorated with Pat the Patriot and the flying Elvis logos everywhere.

Oh yeah like the first play of the game where he dropped the ball wide open? The kid has work to do. He's far from grown up.

I just gotta say, a HUGE THANK YOU from all the Seahawk fans for knocking the Saints from the ranks of the unbeaten today. Awesome job today guys. That look on Ryan's face was definitely priceless. :D I certainly wouldn't mind meeting up with the Patriots in New York come February. It would definitely be fun. Thanks again and good luck the rest of the way.

We must have watched different games, Dobson was horrible. Sure he made some solid catches but he's the most unreliable WR we've had in a long time. Potential ? Sure. Hands ? Cast Iron.
