Explosive New Hernandez Details

Neighbors heard gunshots from his house yet Lloyd was killed where he was found. So what were they shooting at in his house?

...

I also don't think that it's a failure on BB's part. He has taken many gambles over the years in picking players that come with question marks, and in the 13 years that he's been here, this is the first time that something really bad has happened.

That's the thing with all these "Patriots Way has gone astray" columns. The Patriots record has consistently been one of keeping the "risky" guys in line. How many times do we hear "analysts" say essentially, "if there's one place Troubled Player X can turn it around and succeed it's New England."

We still don't know if Aaron himself broke the security system or if it was one of the other two men with him that night.

Exactly - and if the cellphone was in fact damaged the same applies there. And it doesn't benefit the media to add that factor while the witch hunt frenzy is at its height. It amazes me that all the 'weekend detectives' posting on this board can't at least understand the mediots are simply grasping at straws.

Its all on Hernandez.

The Patroits could not have placed him in a better position to succeed and set himself up for life. All he had to do was work hard and stay out of trouble.

It takes two to tango, apparently Ahern got a lot more brazen after he signed his deal, such a change is relatively common after the power dynamics of a relationship change.

I think the Pats should have done a bit more digging on him before they gave him the extension, and they should have included a few more clauses in said contract, word is that they're on the hook for millions even if he's sitting in a jail cell. Not a good way to mitigate your risk.

I agree that there is nothing we know for certain, and I know no more than anyone else on this board, but it doesn't stop me from joining the discussion on this board, and doesn't stop me from speculating on the extent of what happened. Like you or anyone else, I am dismayed by what happened and can't make sense of it, and feel compelled to decide for myself what happened in order to try to make sense of it all. Naturally I stand to be wrong if it somehow turns out that Hernandez is completely innocent, however unlikely it seems.

However, while I maintain the opinion that Hernandez will not put on the Patriots uniform again, not once have I passed judgement on Hernandez's character, or thrown him under the bus. It's just very unfortunate that this has happened.

I am glad to hear that you have not thrown him under the bus regardless of your previous posts. All I think is important is people reserve judgment until the facts come out. I do not rely on so called information from unnamed sources as reported in media which has a history of printing false stories or long standing bias against the Patriots. Perhaps you remember the supposed taping of the Rams by the Pats on which the Herald and ESPN staked their reputation and how it turned out.

Thank you for being a voice of reason.

Guess it is good we have moved on from Tebow...

Now we can all speculate what did happen, what will happen and the future of the Patriots..

Perhaps we can mount a camera in the roving helicopter, and pal around with the reporters who stick microphones in his face while getting gas... talk about stuck on stupid, the reporters in this case have descended to the lowest possible common denominator.. bottom feeders all.

Too much drama, wake me up when something substantive happens..

If that is the case then he probably still should not be partying at some low life strip club with his buddies late into the night with a baby girl at home (after a incident just months back) .

Its risky behavior even if nothing else ends up having any merit .

Explosive New Detail!!!!

I think I just farted...yup...ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....somebody call up Fox news and tell them to get one of those super secret "maybe" warrants...

If there's no gun and no people willing to talk, then he may not even be arrested for it. Hard to prove with just a body and some heard gunshots. Maybe he was shot by in a dispute by hernandrz' homie and hern had nothing to do with it.

If Hernandez is truly a good teammate, then he cares about team members; the guys on the New England Patriots. Of course, this typically extends to close personal friends, as well. Otherwise, they probably wouldn't rate (as such), yeah?

Yet, we hear/see nothing from Hernandez in regards to the awful death of his close friend. If your friend was murdered, wouldn't you want to find the killer(s)? Wouldn't you want to help get to the bottom of things?

Hypothetically, if Hernandez participated in the murder, would you- as a member of the New England Patriots -want him as a teammate? Perhaps, the same thing might happen to you? Hey, if this is how one treats their friends...

In my opinion- which appears to be shared by many others -this situation goes far beyond a single incident. And, it is NOT simply about evading jail time just to play a game. Those who are only thinking in terms of padding their egos with a championship that they merely participated in from a viewer's perspective should get a grip.

This is about human life and character...which also enables real teams to excel.

Oh stop, Hernandez went two seasons without any kind of incident, it was the right deal to make at the time. Do you really think they should have said "well let's hold up on doing this deal because you know he may one day be entangled in a murder case".

Also like how you assume they didn't "do more digging" and came back with nothing more than what they knew.

I feel like you would completely rip the Patriots and Belichick apart if they never extended him, this incident never happened and then they let him go in free agency. You wouldn't be on here going "the Pats rightfully didn't extend him because they must have done some digging and the character concerns were still there"

All dancers are to return to work immediately! And bring your work clothes.

Of course, law enforcement has info that hasn't been made public. Some public info I might have missed: Fiance and baby live with Ahern? Does the sister live nearby? Have members of Ahern's entourage(s) been identified? I would have thought there would be more noise about other people. But you have to be prepared for things to turn in unexpected directions.

The playerwives website says that the African-American man leaving Aaron Hernandez's house on the first morning was the uncle of Hernandez's fiancee, Shayana Jenkins. Her sister, and the man's niece, was dating Lloyd.

This really has family affair written all over it UNLESS whatever happened has nothing to do with the people I mentioned above.

We don't know that ahern isn't helping and giving all the info he knows. We know only that a guy was killed that can be linked to ahern. That's it! Ahern very couldn't have been with Lloyd in his last minutes. There are too many unknowns. Your post is just speculation that he did it. Because guess what, if he says something publicly, it could be used against him. Just wait patiently and see what happens.

I'll give you that - but right or wrong, unfortunately that behavior is common with a good percentage of nfl players under 25. It's especially common with the two starting tight ends on this team. My point is let's get all the facts and not base everything on what is now media speculation.

With all due respect, I don't think any good can come of Hernandez talking about the case, period.

Anything he says voluntarily can (A) be used in a trial, and (B) be used against him in the court of public opinion.

I posted about this yesterday ...

Was laughing my butt off when they said the Cadillac Lounge ...

That place is full of lowlife perverts with an adult video store up the street.

It's a place for the gangsta look ...

Hernandez getting that contract was the proverbial lipstick on a pig.

Icy - Can you please take care of Tebow>Brady? It is clear that he is a troll.
