While the Flying Elvis Logo is more associated with success and the Pat Patriot logo is more associated with the team being a laughingstock, I've always kind of liked how the Pat Patriot Logo looks.
Shame on all of you people are making sarcastic and mean comments. I for one would like to congratulate the Buffalo Bills and their fans for this remarkable achievement. I will not denigrate or belittle this remarkable achievement in any way shape or form (and yes I used the phrase...
I don't post here that much but I tend to lurk here a lot. Always a good place to be after the tough losses and a particularly good place to be with all the deflategate B.S. It's even better after an epic win like yesterday's
I've always liked the Pat Patriot uniforms. When they first changed to the Flying Elvis in '93 I really didn't like it. It took me a long time to get used to Flying Elvis and new uniforms. Not to mention the tweaks they kept making until they settled on the navy blue jerseys in 2000...
It was that '85 team that got me into following the Patriots and the NFL. Also in 1986 they didn't have a bad year. They won 11 games but ended up being knocked out of the playoff's by John Elway and the Broncos.
Unfortunately after that it was a deterioration into the oblivion of 1-15...
I found the column to be rather amusing.
Although it does seem rather sad that a column in a major newspaper by a "NFL HOF Selection Committee" member doesn't read any differently from a fan post you would find on the GangGreen forums or the forums of any rival team for that matter...
Despite having far more loathing for the Jets, I would have to say the Colts.
Most of the games between the Patriots and Colts over the last decade have been nothing short of epic.
re: Moss post-game(merged X3)
Well, the Randy Moss post game certainly was interesting and bordering on the bizarre. It's certainly not boring when he speaks.
Not sure if I'd like his comments too much if I was a Vikings fan.
Wow!
I haven't been in this forum since last season, but I had to check out what people were saying about this.
I think "meltdown" may be a bit of an overstatement but what a train-wreck of a presser. Can't wait to hear what Felger has to say about this tomorrow!
I rarely post, but I lurk quite frequently. Fortunately, I haven't had any problems (that I know of). Like many users, I received an e-mail from Ian informing us of the issues. I am glad to see that this site if run by people who give a damn.
Thank you Ian.
I've been following the team since Super Bowl XX, when they got shellacked by Da Bears. I went through 1-15 in 1990, 6-10 in 1991, 2-14 in 1992. If I recall correctly the first year of Parcells/Bledsoe was 5-11. The Pete Carroll teams won more than they lost, but these were mediocre and...
