The best approach is to sign a 1 year FA this year and draft a Round 1 LT next year. The Pats got that correct and then fumbled the execution by signing Okorafor. We could have signed Tyron Smith or Mekhi Becton, but that would have cost us up to $2.5M extra, and the Pats wanted to go cheap.

I'm sure that you are prepared to be happy with the Pats draft almost all of the time. Supporting a draft strategy of choosing backups in R3 is crazy for any team in any draft.
