If I am not mistaken, the NFL doesn't work like the NHL where you take the total number and divide it by the # of years on the contract. I Believe the NFL cap works on the actual amount being made that year, including bonuses. I may be wrong, and feel free to correct me, but I am pretty sure...

Well, it depends on where you are. Cost of living in city is going to be more than in a non metropolitan area. Where I live a family of three can "get by" on a 50K house hold income, that would not be true in Boston.

Let's not go too far here. Jackson hasn't played a down in the NFL and Gabriel has never been more than a #4. They have potential, and I do like the enthusiasm for their play, but let's not put in a catagory that they haven't even been given the opportunity to take.

I think what you saw was them trying to establish the run in this game, so when teams study films they will then be able to use it against them. I am not saying they are playing games for the future, but I think it is in their minds that they had a game plan to run the ball, pass when needed...
