Funny thing is, I actually have bumped into him and he is a really nice guy in person. He has to get ratings, and it is a competitive market. He is going to say things off the cuff now because he needs people to call in and argue with him.
You have to realize that a lot of these guys feel...
good point, and the NFL does allow that. But then you start to run the risk of having players not want to come to NE because they are afraid they won't have a job in a year or two for the contract they have. I know, it's a trade...but look at the rep the Bruins have had for not forking over...
If I am not mistaken, the NFL doesn't work like the NHL where you take the total number and divide it by the # of years on the contract. I Believe the NFL cap works on the actual amount being made that year, including bonuses. I may be wrong, and feel free to correct me, but I am pretty sure...
one would think the PA would step in, he would have to suspend him for good reason.......Even then the NFLPA would take issue with it. It is in Oakland's best interest to trade him, but his value is probably very low right now with all the crap he has been pulling.
Well, it depends on where you are. Cost of living in city is going to be more than in a non metropolitan area. Where I live a family of three can "get by" on a 50K house hold income, that would not be true in Boston.
Let's not go too far here. Jackson hasn't played a down in the NFL and Gabriel has never been more than a #4. They have potential, and I do like the enthusiasm for their play, but let's not put in a catagory that they haven't even been given the opportunity to take.
Re: What To Do With Our Leftover Cap$$ Money Now?
I think Graham is one that they will look at to resign/extend. He is a good blocking TE with decent hands. Of anyone on this list RIGHT NOW, I would think he would be at the top.
I think what you saw was them trying to establish the run in this game, so when teams study films they will then be able to use it against them. I am not saying they are playing games for the future, but I think it is in their minds that they had a game plan to run the ball, pass when needed...
I agree, but on the same token, as said by everyone...I need to feed my kids. I have a son, I need to feed him, but it wouldn't take me $333K/ child to feed them. Do I disagree with Deion in getting what he felt he deserved, no, not at all. Just don't say to the media that you need more than...
I, unfortunately, am thinking they are looking at picking up a cast off of the Carlos Rodgers mold. That wouldn't be good. They will probably also bring back that guy they picked up off waivers from Buffalo to fillt he roster spot. Because Deion was using a roster spot. It's too bad it had...
No one is perfect, but a CB has a decent game if his wide outs name doesn't get called, nor does his name get called. That's what happened and he played a solid game. I thought he did look better than Asante did who went flying by tackle and was luckily saved by a block in the back call (I am...
Unfortunately the Pats have become this love them or hate them identity. If there is a fan of an AFC team, they will hate the Pats because of what they have been able to accomplish. After a while, it all just becomes common place. All that matters in the end are W's and rings. Last I...
You have to think they want Jackson on the field and getting ready. I mean, they traded up to get him in the 2nd round so they have to think he has something there. I think he might see a play or two on Sunday. They will need all the help they can get once Reche drops 4 balls in a row.
I...
Hi Guys, First time poster here. Just found out about this site off of HFboards.com (hockey's futures). Quick thought on this, Brady is going to say the right things....it's what he does. He isn't going to bad mouth Deion in the chance that he might return to his team. You will also notice...
