Pats 2nd Most Popular NFL Team (According To The Internet)

It's tough to take this list seriously when the Bills are at 8. Yeah, I'm sure Buffalo is just as popular as the Giants.

    Packers losing threads (merged)

This had nothing to do with resting starters. All of the problems the Packers had today, dropped passes, poor defense, sloppy play, were issues during the last part of the season. The Packers played and looked just like they did against the Chiefs.

Tom Curran: Patriots used the Colts game to experiment with players

Clearly this explains why McCourty can't cover anyone in man to man coverage.

    Defense steps up today

The defense did its job, but the Jets have a **** offense with only one legitimate playermaker. Playing well against them is a good start, but not a cause for celebration.

Best free agent signing thus far?

The Chiefs had a young player they wanted to start and Waters had too big of a name and was earning too much money to be a backup there. Cutting him wasn't really that bad of a decision.

The GOAT is 9-10 overall in PO

I find it hard to excuse Manning for this one, especially considering the Jets have no real pass rush. He played the game exceptionally conservative and cost his team a win tonight.

Did the Pats officially knock Sanchez out of the MVP Race?

Peter King's MVP selections are nothing more than knee-jerk reactions to who played well that week. Now he's calling MJD a MVP candidate.

    Rumor: Moss to Vikings?

Sounds like nonsense. Why would Bill Simmons of all people be the one to break this news?

OT: Cassel remains steady in face of criticism

Re: OT:Cassel remains steady in face of criticism Based on what, reputation? The Chiefs are the number one running team in the league, have only given up 2 sacks, only one of which was the line's fault. I've watched every KC game this year and Cassel has had time to throw.

OT: Cassel remains steady in face of criticism

Re: OT:Cassel remains steady in face of criticism The offensive line is not terrible. It's actually a good run blocking line, and the pass protection has been good this year and the end of last year. Cassel doesn't help things with his poor pocket awareness either, he's one of those QBs...

OT: Chiefs vs. SD game thread

Re: Chiefs VS SD game thread Cassel's awful pocket presence doesn't help the pass protection. He shares some blame for that and his general inaccuracy throwing the ball.
  12. B

    Jarrad Page

The guy sat out all of training camp, they probably aren't going to use him much right away.
  13. B

    McGowan to IR

Page is poor in run support and is a different player than McGowan. I wouldn't expect him to be used in the same sort of in-the-box role.
  14. B

Pats trade for Jarrad Page, S, KC

Despite his size and occasional big hit, Page is a poor tackler and isn't great in run support. He's not a guy you want in the box all that much. He's done a pretty good job of covering TEs like Gates though.
  15. B

    Tear up this coaching staff

O'Brien is one of the worst offensive coordinators in the league and was a disaster this year. There's no question he should be fired.
