Indy media already complaining about officials LINK

Both the Colts and Pats get a lot of calls. I think a lot of it just comes from being a winning team. Refs probably subconsciously expect you to play near-perfect football since both teams records the last few years have been near-perfect. The Pats get a lot of calls too, though, even if...

Indy Star -- Brady spurned receiver. Which one?

Yeah, I'm sure a reporter just concocted that entire story and then used a made-up quote and attributed it to Brady's father. Falsifying a story is the cardinal sin in journalism and always results in termination, but I'm sure the writer hates the Pats so much that he was willing to put his...

Pats fan beaten last week at Bills game

Look at this objectively: The writing is extremely inflammatory. She even refers to Buffalo and their fans as "N.Y." and "New York fans." Yes, Buffalo is in New York State, but this was done purely to make New Englanders subconciously associate Buffalo with your big rival, NYC. The guy...

Sweet game by the New England Officials...err, I mean Patriots

Nice job by Terry McCauley calling Whinter's TD back for a bogus block in the back AND calling it dead to kill Buffalo's field position. That block in the back call on Royal on Price's 3rd down conversion was pretty awesome too. The hell with Branch; sign McCauley to a new deal. It must...

Rookie Safety meet Mssrs Watson & Graham

Only one rookie is starting. Everyone else in the secondary has been in the Pro Bowl.

    Individual matchups on Sunday

I'm assuming that Clements will cover Gabriel so, in that case, Terrence McGee would take Caldwell.

    Individual matchups on Sunday

The most important matchup for the Bills is first-round pick Donte Whitner and/or veteran Troy Vincent vs. Ben Watson. With a decimated receiving crew, Brady will probably rely heavily on the tight end and, given his success with underneath passing, I suspect Brady to throw his way heavily.

The Day the SuperBowl became Wrestlemania

Well, NFL, you got your fairy tale ending. Jerome Bettis got his ring at home. Congrats. The more marketable team won and the you'll will be able to sell millions upon millions of dollars of merchandise, memorabilia, etc. to the enormous Steeler Nation. Would've been hard to do the same if...

Was it INCOMPETENCE or was it PERSONAL BIAS??

This has nothing to do with the age or full-time status of the refs. This game was fixed. Period.

PFW, 3/5/2001: Team least likely to make the SB in the next 5 years?

You can't gloat over this too much. Who knew that the Pats' no-name backup QB who was previously known as "the guy who split snaps with Henson at UM" was a future Hall of Famer?

Bruschi and Steve Smith named Comeback Players of the Year

Hey, Brunell had a great year after a terrible one. Seems like CPOY-material to me. Mentioning Bruschi is what most would call a "feel-good" award. He didn't really do much at all after coming back from a minor stroke. Vrabel is, and always has been, the best LB on the Patriots.

    Brady's mind-game...

This is just NE's rallying cry; it's been so for the last 4 years. They are one of the most respected teams in the league. Brady is one of the most respected QBs in the league. This is just self-motivation. Whether you like it or not, your team (especially your QB) has been a media darling...

    $@!&*$*$*! BILLS!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...you should be happy you've got a shot at the 3rd seed. "all of our stars are destined to get injured, waaa, waaa, waaaa" When is the last time Brady ever got hurt?

    OT: That face . . .

The Chiefs beat you b/c Brady threw, like, 4 picks. You can't even compare the two. Steve Belichick was old and James Dungy was just a young kid who died in a particularly tragic manner right around Christmas. With home field locked up and this week's events, I'm sure Manning didn't give two...
