The point is, we already won 3 Super Bowls. That already pisses off a lot of people. This year, not only did we reach it again, but we beat opponents 18 times (almost half of the 32 teams in the NFL) ruining their record, keeping them out of playoffs, taking one of the playoff spots, ruining their seedings, pissing off the Jets, signing great players for low dough, and making them jealous of our own record. With Spygate, Moss, and Moss again, undefeated season, and Brady's baby, all anyone ever heard this season was Patriots Patriots Patriots. In fact for the past 7 seasons or so. I love it.

I LOVE IT!

We already have 3 Super Bowls and broken every record one can think of. Rice's. The only team with back-to-back Super Bowl wins. Most receptions in the Super Bowl, broken twice (Branch and Welker.) Most regular season wins in a row (18 from a few years back, now 19) and most wins including playoffs (21.) An MVP Quarterback.

A 14-3 playoff record. That's better than almost every team's regular season record any given year.

Non-stop, year-round Patriots coverage, especially from September to February. I love it.:p :p

Let's go to the Super Bowl every year. That's two weeks of non-stop Patriots coverage while 30 teams are pissed off. I LOVE IT! Who cares what happens, the season ends then. Winning a ring is great but it doesn't affect me as a fan and we have many other styles of Super Bowl win T-Shirts to choose from.

BB could even start beating all the good teams (Colts, etc) and playing his backups against bad teams (49ers, Browns) and other such fantastic teams. All we need is 2 or 3 wins in a row in the playoffs!

It's okay to lose if you're 10-6, won 3 in a row on the road and are facing an 18-0 team. It's NOT okay to lose if you're that 18-0 team.

No it not ok if we lost the superbowl. That was one game to the pperfect season, odds of that happening again next year? Its the Patriots fault too. Are they stupid for having 19-0 trademarked already? They got too ****y. The Offense SUCKED. They knew they had a superbowl they should have tried harder. God I Hate Eli Manning and the Giants.

First, the Cowboys have won back to back Championships.
Second, Congrats on your QB's first MVP...some playing now have been 3 times.
Third, Keep on truckin' after all...pissing people off is the only thing that's important...and hey, you sure pissed off a lot of bookmakers in Vegas, LOL.

Don't forget your newest record...

Only team to be put out of the post season twice in a row by two guys with the same last name.

I disagree with the notion of successful seasons, for this team, without a Super Bowl title. The goal of every team is to win it, but that's not necessarily a realistic goal for every team. Some teams just want to improve year-over-year, win the division and hope, etc. That's not the situation for the Patriots and it hasn't been for at least five years. Any season that doesn't end with the title is a failure, because that's a realistic goal. A goal they failed to achieve.

the small successes I am happy about are the 23 TDs, 50 TDs and most points and TDS. no one can take that away.. pretty nice huh? ;)

It is not OK to loose this SB because of following reasons:

1- We did not win this game because we did not have talented players and coach.
2-Our players had tied or broke nearly every NFL records during normal season, playoff, and SB.
3-We suppose to be fantastic 4.
4-It hurts to see #1 ranked O team score 2 TDs in a 60 min game when it had 2 weeks to prepare and has best coach, QB, and good players.

While the loss sucks for us, it is actually good for the overall health of the NFL. 2 of the greatest upsets ever happened this decade (2001, 2007 SB). The NFC has some pride again. This stuff keeps the league marketable and growing. Doesn't make me feel any better, but we do have to realize that it isn't the Patriots Football League...

It's ok to have a positive attitude. Nothing wrong with it. I have a lot of optimism for the years to come and know we will bounce back! The wounds are so fresh right now that its not ok for me at this moment but when we win our next one (God willing) I will happily forget this superbowl.
