Belichick Showed His Appreciation in Heart-Felt Letter to Fans

During Bill Belichick's final press conference for the New England Patriots, he talked about the fact he and owner Robert Kraft were parting ways, seeming measured and stoic as he spoke to reporters.

He didn't answer any questions as he and Kraft delivered the news.
However, Belichick's voice notably broke as he talked about the fans in the region and how much it all meant to him before he walked out of the door for the last time.

BB had a cold at the time. I don't think his voice broke because of emotion.

He did, but his voice broke when he mentioned the fans that day. That was the biggest thing that stood out to me (and others).

I actually re-watched it again after either you or somebody else said something similar following the other entry I posted right after where I mentioned it... I forget who it was.
