Just for kicks, what's your prediction for the big game tonight?

Series leader: Saints, 5-4
Streaks: Saints have won five of past six matchups
On TV: 8:30 p.m. ET, NBC (John Madden, Al Michaels)

Remember the last time? Sept. 28, 2003: Colts 55, Saints 21. Indianapolis QB Peyton Manning posts perfect 158.3 passer rating, throwing for 314 yards and six touchdowns, including three scores to WR Marvin Harrison.

This is not a prediction but a hope. Saints 34 Colts 20

I do think that the Colts willhave trouble with the Saints offense and the Saints D is better than most think.

28 - 24 NO over Colts

The Saints offense will prove to be too much for a revamped Indy secondary -Bush will have considerable yardage both rushing and on the short passing game.

Manning and his WR corps will keep the game within reach and it could be a battle up and down till late in the 4th quarter - Possibly the game will come down to who has the ball last - There will be literally no defense in this game.

The home team and super bowl defending champ is undefeated on opening thursday night games - It ends that streak tonight.

New Orleans will show us why the NFC is not such a pushover this year.

FINAL
New Orleans 31
Indianapolis 27

Colts 28, Saints 14

Colts will roll on these guys.

Colts 31
Saints 12

Colts 41
Saints 17

Manning 4 TDs passing on the Saints pathetic seconday.

Colts 500

Saints - 500

What, thats what they said on the colts boards

Colts - 31
Saints - 27

Colts 31 Saints 17

Close towards the end of the half.

Saints 31
Colts 30

Could go either way, but I like the Saints, so I'll pick them.

What in the world does the mainstream media SEE in this Colts team? And why do alot of people keep underestimating the Saints, especially their coaching staff?

I'm going to have to go with the Colts b/c they're at home, and the emotions will be running high over their big Super Bowl win-but don't bank on it.

Tough one to call. I'll go with a half time score of 14-7 Saints, and a final score of 21-14 Colts.

1) Colts 34 Saints 21- This is what I expect, i think the Colts polished O will open at midseason form and catch the Saints D by force. Drew Brees throws for 2 TD+s but the duo of Bush and McCallister is held to under 100 ards

Saints 42

This is going to be like the KC/Indy divisional game in 03 where neither defense can stop the other offense.

Saints 24 Colts 21....OK OK..maybe wishful thinking here, but the target is on the Colts back this year..wish to see teh Colts go down..what better way to start the season....A surprise win!!
