When did I over react? When I said there will be a key 4th down on the final drive.. which there was btw.
Come on...you have been a little on the negative side.

This is a day when I think it would have been reasonable to sit Brady.

The coaching staff knows more about his injury than we do, but Brady will never say when he is too hurt to play.

Hopefully it was just a case of pain managementry and no undue risk of worsening the injury.

Fair point.

But I'm glad he played, because his fourth quarter magic (and Chris long) won the game.

I think we are in good hands for a Lombardi this year, Brady will get better and Gronk's back injury is not serious and not expected to miss any time even tho we should sit him out against the Rams, too many close calls

Dude, really? You made multiple posts claiming our season is over in the gameday thread and now are saying we should win the Super Bowl? Talk about manic.

Oh look another game where the Pats defense held the opponent to 17 or less.

It was the Jets though.. but the D kept us in the game today.

But but but the "eye test"

Look they werent playing the GSOT here and they are not as good as points allowed (which nobody ever even claimed) but they can be solid and at least made some plays today.

Phew.... psyched the defense made some plays today...I think it's so frustrating watch this D because games r always so close vs NYJ and Brady has to be close to perfect.... he was on final drive...we have the greatest of all time quarterback, can u imaging he consistently had a top 5 defense?

It's almost like people really want their favorite team to win.
This. Reacting to what you see on the field how you feel about the team seems very frowned upon on sport forums. I'm not saying any names nor calling any members here out, but not every post is sunshine and rainbows. As long as you aren't calling people names and keeping it mature, what's the issue?

Forums have always existed for the sake of discussing a neutral interest and having a variety of opinions on the subject.

Come on...you have been a little on the negative side.

We were playing the 3-7 Jets and barely won. I made 1 negative comment, and that was either way it wasnt a good game from us even if we win.

Yeah, I think there was more positive than negative today for the D. Also, I still think that last Jets TD was BS.

We are taking steps into the right direction. Even if it was far from perfect at the very least the team showed a ****ton of mental toughness today. Baby steps into the right direction for the D, finally getting some turnovers and more pressure.

With everything that was going on (Brady clearly injured, Gronk early out, Marty still affected by the ankle) it was good enough and at that point of the season that's all what is needed. Survive and move on.

It will be interesting to follow how BB will deal with Ghost. While I get that many are losing their patience with him, the reality is that it if you look around the league where is the guarantee that his replacement would be a significant improvement ? Also even if for the sake of argument we'd decide to move on his contract would be a hard pill to swallow.

Fortunately there is still time.. lets just enjoy a win against the Jets..

Hell yes! Wins against the Jets are always extra satisfying.

I'm just glad we won even when we didn't look good doing it. Now I can watch Walking Dead and Westworld without feeling pissed off.

The great seattle offense just put NINE points against Tampa Bay.

I know wtf happend to them today. Really makes you scratch your head. Maybe Tampa is playing better they knocked off the Chiefs last week
