You do realize that if we send Aaron Dobson, or Danny Amendola, or Keyshawn Martin, or anyone else deep, the defense does cover them right?
For the most part.

So are we working out a contract with Streater?
Sure sounds like it

LOL at Brady not having Weapons. JE11 might be the toughest cover at WR in the NFL, and Gronk is the best tight end of all time. Holy hell, some of you, I swear. They were on pace to be the best offensive team of all time last year before injuries.... And the defense is good enough that they don't have to be THAT good. Pump the damn breaks

As for players coming here for cheap... I hate to go all Felger on y'all, but playing for the Patriots isn't as envied as us fans think it should be.... BB is tough and cutthroat. There are plenty of other good teams these free agents can go and win, too. We aren't Bull Russell's Celtics here.

Bashing guys like Forte for not coming here is lame. We are Patriot fans. We love this team.. We are emotionally invested. These guys aren't.

watch out, the pink hats don't want to hear it..

brady's job is suppose to get easier as he gets older, not harder. bad offensive line/no running game.
if gronk goes down, we're in big ****ing trouble.

You know how many injuries that OL had last year? A stupid amount. Why the line was so bad..mix and match every single week. Had a running game when Lewis was in before he got hurt. Again it's all about health. That line and Lewis stays healthy...we don't have that discussion

Gotta love the people that bring up age regarding Boldin... Yet Brady is gonna be 39 this season...

boldin cant get open in 2 seconds.

sorry kay, unless they invent a time machine..anquan is a terrible fit.

They had a complete team but, offensively, the reason why the Pats output was so much better in the 2014 season vs. other seasons where they failed in the playoffs is because they had wideouts that can threaten every level of the field. Remember Lafell getting open deep against the Ravens and hauling that pass in? The Pats don't win that game without him. Without a guy like Lafell, defenses can load 8 in the box and go man to man in the back end while doubling Edelman and the best defenses (like the ones they see in the postseason) can get away with it with success. The Patriots know this. This is why they were sniffing around Benjamin and Jones.
Spot on Kontra

Number of games the starting OL* played togehter: 0
(*I'm assuming if Wendell was healthy we would have seen him at RG which would have allowed them to ease Mason and Jackson in)

So..
Wendell missed all year
Stork missed 8 games
Solder was gone after week 5
Vollmer missed the Giants game due to concussion and then the Miami game because of the ankle and then he was clearly not 100% playing out of position at LT in the playoffs
Tre Jackson missed a few games in the regular season and then missed the playoffs
Mason missed a couple of games in the regular season
Kline was probably playing the best and then he got injured and missed 2 games and was clearly not 100% when he returned

Literally everything went wrong for them.. I just have to think they won't be as snakebitten next season

Him being here when Cunningham is back im Nashville makes me feel he is either working on a deal or just hanging because its not a long trip to Jersey.

heres hoping the Jets have closed every signing so far.
If Bills match on Hogan thoughts on Harvin as a fall back option?

calling it now if we sign Streater he makes more of a impact than Sanu.

we'll forget about sanu in a week....

im telling you, they should of kept lafell. he was gonna make around 3m a year, such a bargain looking at all of these prices.

If the contract was minimal I would take him.. Top 5 kickoff return guy the last 2 years..

dola, edelman, martin all do that job.

also have chris harper if theyre all out injured.;)

sign both of them.

My friend Kevin said the same thing he said other Teams in the AFC hate us which is why Jones and Matthews signed elsewhere
Kevin said that, huh?

I can guarantee you and Kevin that guys aren't making a decision not to come here because they "hate" the Pats.

IF we sign Streater he has more upside than Lafell

If "we" sign Streater, he's an All Pro caliber player who just hasn't had his fair shake. If "we" don't sign Streater, he's absolute garbage and BB was just bringing him in to be nice to his agent and try to drum up interest for the poor stiff, because he owed him a favor.
