Talib has to be suspended. He didn't just poke a guy in the eye, he literally drove his fingers into his eye.

Last year a player -- forget what team -- purposefully tried to injure a Patriot. I think he was fined 15000 for some sort of tertiary act.
Do NOT hold your breath waiting for Goodell and his crowd of scum! to do the right thing. Suspension, have you people lived in a cave the last 6 months??

Crazy thing is, the Panthers have arguably a much easier schedule the rest of the year than the Pats.

Bengals have a brutal second half schedule: Denver, Pittsburgh, Arizona. They're losing at least one.

Would be crazy to see two teams, in each conference, finish undefeated.

If the play conservative like they did before the half running on 3rd and 6, they will lose.

Playing to win in that series is running the ball. Running guarantees the clock goes down to at most 80 seconds left (probably closer to 70 seconds or less). Broncos would then be down 6 points and probably have to drive 80 yards for the TD and they have no timeouts. Chances of an 80 yard drive with barely more than a minute and no timeouts is extremely low.

That would be just insane to pass and risk Int, risk losing the 3 points, and risk stopping the clock making Manning have closer to 2 minutes to get the 80 yard TD.

Also, Big Ben got hurt again. He could be out for a few games. Unfortunately the Steelers play the Broncos and the Bengals in 4 and 5 weeks. Like to see the Steelers all healthy for those games.

This is wondrous news of the biggest....I'm beside myself as I write this letter to you. I was invited over to Gen. Paganos' wife's dinner party and she was beside herself at potentially losing him. Thankfully, the mental incapacity of the enemy allowed you to get the glorious campaign back on track!

Did you get to talk to Gen. Manning after the battle? Or was he killed? I know this campaign is not over and there are many battles yet left to fight. You have my support now and always, as well as the support of the state of Indiana.

Why the hell not ? Is ignorance an excuse ? Is the job not to protect the integrity of the League ? Is the commish not available everyday ?

It was hard to tell if Costas believed his BS argument or if he's just a good actor.

He blamed the NFLPA for appealing and Henderson for reducing the suspension. He ignored the fact that Goodell could have heard Hardy's appeal, if he was really serious about getting things right with domestic violence issues.

Maybe Goodell upholds the 10 game suspension and Hardy goes to court. Public opinion-wise, Goodell would have looked good for trying to punish a guy who beat his girlfriend, especially if the pictures became public. Goodell opted not to do that, so the ensuing mess is his fault.
