I respect Kraft for hiring Belichick and staying out of Bill's business. With that said, Bob Kraft is a clown. He's a clown for being with a 20-something women, for dressing up like a rapper, for wearing those stupid colored shirts with the white collars, for wearing sneakers with suits and most of all, for backing down to Roger Goodell.

He should turn the team over to Jonathan as soon as possible because the NFL is coming for them again. I believe Jonathan won't roll over as easily and he definitely won't stay quiet for the sake of the tarnished shield.

What makes everyone on this board think Jonathan would've done anything differently? Seriously. It's his son. Do you think Robert Kraft didn't talk to Jonathan whatsoever before making that announcement? Does something lead you to believe that Jonathan was telling Robert Kraft to not make the decision he made? How do you know Jonathan wasn't pushing for that decision as much as RK was? It's his father, they both are heavily involved with the team. Jonathan, BB, and Brady all knew about the decision before it was announced. Kraft even said he was hoping it would get Brady's suspension nullified, so there's even a chance that Brady was okay with the decision that was made. There doesn't seem to be any bad blood between BB & Brady & Kraft... So who are you to call him a clown without even knowing the story?

No one insulted Kraft's shoes or character before. In fact, people on here often called him the greatest owner and laughed at othe owners, talking about how lucky we are.

You don't think he's a clown for any other reason except disagreeing with his decision — which you don't even know all the facts about. Robert Kraft was much more informed (and more proven to lead a successful NFL team) to make that decision. Which makes you the clown.

I don't know Jonathan. Perhaps he would not have done anything diffferently, but that is not how I perceive him. He made some comments during Framegate that lead me to believe that he would be a more forceful advocate for his team than a man who has an obsessive need to be liked by other people.

People are not satisfied with how this organization has been railroaded and tarnished by two extremely overblown if not fabricated scandals. That's why they want it handed over to Jonathan. You're correct in that no one knows what Jonathan will do but people hope that he will defend this organization more aggressively than his father has.

Is that anything that leads people to believe that? Seems like a random assumption. I think assuming that Jonathan supports his fathers moves and aspires to be like him is more likely, considering there is nothing to back up the claim that Jonathan did not agree wth anything Robert Kraft did.

In fact, if people want an owner not like RK, I'd guess Jonathan would be the last person to put in the position.

Are there not better options for an owner who is not like Kraft than his own son...?

Do you know what the NE patriots record was in the 34 years previous to Bob backing Orthwein into a corner and forcing him to sell instead of letting football in NE die so they could become the St. Louis Stallions?

Does it irk me losing 3 first Rd picks during his tenure? Of course. As far as reputation...Who gives a flyin' f...k. They'd hate us anyway.

I'll never jump on the "I hate Bob Kraft bandwagon" and I think the rest of you who do should go find another team. I heard the Jets are always looking for fickle, thin-skinned back-stabbing sh!t talkers.

I'll bet not one YOU jellyfish in here would have the balls to say a word if you were in a room with him alone.

I laugh at all you spineless internet keyboard toughguy jellyfishes. This board wouldn't even EXIST if Bob hadn't bought this team and you'd be stuck talking about how much you don't care about football on Celtic, Bruin and Red Sox boards.

Thankless, ungrateful spoiled brats. The whole lot of you.

Woa big guy.

I really miss the days of Victor Kiam when I needed to drive 100 miles to Foxboro from college to watch a game because I was afraid of it being blacked out.

Tickets were $22 and two cases of Bud Light was $26.

Kraft can dress up like Kim Kardashian for all I care.

He still is an idiot but I wouldn't mess with anything right now.

I've been watching since 1983 when I was 9 years old. Before that, I'd watch my dad yell at the TV on Sundays. Kraft has been a great owner and I gave him a pass on Spygate because of all that he did. I'm not giving him a pass this time. I don't want him to sell the team but I do want him to make Jonathan CEO of the New England Patriots.

Well that's just it. People really want Kraft. They just can't stand him capitulating to Roger. They want him to stand up against the BS and quit thinking that its about the good of the other 31. They hope that Jonathan would be like Robert with a stronger backbone.

I understand why you support RK but Roger has steamrolled this organization twice and RK has always played the appeaser etc.... and it drives me nuts. RK's appeasements or his philosophy of "good for the 32" or whatever has left Brady and BB on their own island to defend themselves against a maniacal scandal breeding commissioner.

His weakness or philosophy has hurt the two that helped build this organization into what it is today.

Wow. So I have to accept the philosophy of capitulation or find another team? I've written an email to the Patriots and respectfully expressed my frustrations with his decisions. Does that count?

I have a couple of years on you but we are the the same Gen. You've seen the suckiest era of Patriots football. It was beyond painful. I'll never forget it. Every day this team is kicking ass I appreciate.

I hear what you are saying but there is something to said by sticking with the devil you know and not working with success.

Ask yourself this, what if Jonathan started getting in BBs shorts and he bolts.

You would regret everything you've said.

Bob is irrelevant. Let it go.

I was 9 in 1980 when I started paying attention. Tony Collins was my favorite player. I understand Bob has made some mistakes (especially recently) and I think Jonathan will be a great steward when his time comes. It will be sooner rather than later.

That being said when Bob's time is up I hope all here will understand what he truly meant to this franchise and how he was the man responsible for keeping pro football in NE and sculpting something no one in this region could even fathom would happen.

I can look at some of his actions and SMH, but at the same time I also look at the overall picture.

He gave up a 1st Rd pick to pry Bill Belichick from the Jets. Did that look like a shrewd move 2 weeks into the 2001 season?

My attitude to losing a 1st in '07 and now '16 is just wait. This story is far from over.

Really? I respect that. I'm just another internet keyboard hidden in the shadows tough-talk no action guy myself.

I commend you if that's the truth.

I still love Bob, though. He kept the team here.

I understand why people are upset with Robert for backing down. I even understand the eternal hate. I don't agree with it, but I understand it.

But who the **** do you think you are to judge his personal life? If he wants to cavort with young women or dress up for Halloween or wear whatever he wants, that's his own business. A man has his right to be happy, not to live by whatever ******** moral code that others think is acceptable.

And if assholes like you spent more time focusing on your own lives instead of trying to tear down someone else's happiness, maybe you wouldn't be so ****ing bitter and angry.

You can dislike or disagree. But we both know it's true.

I respectfully disagree. Bob needs to be relevant. Standing pat until the next BS is not the answer. IMO

LOL! You are right. We should not have opinions.
