Man that was an ugly first half. 5 sacks is unacceptable. But we adjusted and the Cowboys D got tired so it didn't last long.

I really hope we are lucky on the injury front. Hightower with his ribs of course but Im more paranoid about Brady getting up gingerly after that hit on the touchdown. He didn't throw the ball at all afterwards, though we were running out the clock of course. Brady has played with injuries throughout his entire career, its nothing new, but I don't want anything to adversely affect how good this team is.

he was my pick to have a big year after (maybe lead the team in sacks) watching him in pre-season.

The defence was terrific. The tackling of the secondary has been very good all year.

Don't roll your eyes, it could happen.

Anyway, impressive first qtr by both teams defensively, but I knew it wouldn't last. I knew the Pats would get on a roll, and when they do that you have to score, and we simply do not have the offense right now to do so on a consistent basis.

That refereeing was the worst ive seen since the replacement reffs a few years ago. And i think even they were bettter that clete.
I don't think BB thought hardy would be as good as he was do to not playing in over a year.

Brady is tough as nails. He went 20/27 for 275 and 2 TDs even though he was getting hit all game. Is there another QB who could put in such a performance getting harassed like that? Tom Brady truly is the GOAT.

Besides routinely performing highlight reel plays, Dion Lewis is really protecting the football. If this kid stays healthy, he's going to be amazing. Great extension by BB.

Supposedly Reiss said Hightower came back into the game, but the Pats downgraded him to out at the half, so it seems unlikely. Harmon was back out there for the last couple of series.

It was a pretty good game by the secondary, especially McCourty.

Jamie Collins is an absolute beast. Even when he's not making the play himself, he makes the players around him better.

Hope the OL figures stuff out. Can't have a 38 year old Brady taking that many shots, especially considering how quickly he was getting rid of the ball.

This would have been a great game with Romo and Dez. Romo can actually throw and improvise, Dez would have forced double coverage, and that would have opened up the run game. But alas.

We're getting Dez back next game, at NYG. Tony back week 11. We need to win our next game.
