I'm glad it wasn't a Guard.

Don't know much about Devin Smith, but he sounds like he could be Stephen Hill 2.0.

I told you that a month or so ago. That's not a surprise.

As an avid Buckeye fan, I would have remembered this comment from you or anyone, for that matter.

We discussed his awesome speed and uncanny ability to track the deep ball, but I don't remember anyone suggesting that he's the best gunner in the NCAAs.

I know that his blocking sucked, and that he was very one dimensional in terms of route running.

Let's see what the Texans want for D.J. Swearinger.

Because I like Rat tears.

************ you love pumping the tires of the other teams in the division

Is Devin Smith that good to draft a WR so high in a strong WR draft?

He'd have been an excellent prospect for the Patriots, because his skill set would have complemented the other receivers.

So many commercials.....

He's right about the improvement in the division, though. Those are some nice pieces to have if they ever manage to get a reasonable option at QB.

Jet's ignoring the O-Line, they can talk all they want about Devin Smith, if the QB can't get him the ball, they could have Jerry Rice out there and it wouldn't matter.
Ash good point but you have to admit a wr core of Marshall decker and smith with our mediocre secondary is worrisome

Let me know if the Jets trade for Drew Brees. Until then I'm not too worried.

I really didn't want Smith. Kind of glad the Jets took him.

Redskins- Preston Smith

I think that Smith is going to be pretty good for the Jets. He's really fast and ccan burn past guys. But it's not just that he can run past them. He tracks the ball really well and can catch it with a defender right on him. To me that makes him much different from guys that have nothing but speed, like Stephen Hill

I edited the post because it came over stronger than I intended. Pretty sure I mentioned this to you, but I've been hearing this quite a bit during this pre-draft season. I've certainly mentioned it more than once. Anyway, doesn't matter.
