The 2015 NFL Combine Thread

That's heavier than Clowney was a year ago. It will be interesting to see what kind of VJ, 3C and 40 Dupree puts up at that weight.

Apparently he's working out with the linebackers rather than DL. that's smart because he'll put up Khalil Mack type numbers at nearly twenty pounds heavier.

If he puts up similar numbers then I think he'll go top 15. Mack had a 4.55 40 (Pro Day), 1.53 10 Split (Pro Day), 40" VJ, 10'8" BJ and 7.08 3C and 251#. I think Dupree is a better pure athlete.

Apparently Corey Crawford had an 85" wingspan. Only Clemmings and Trenton Brown had bigger wingspans than Crawford. Chandler Jones had an 85.75 wingspan. It'll be interesting to see how Crawford compares athletically to Jones because they look similar in terms of body type.

Jesse James had 10'1" broad. Clive Walford - 10'. Max Williams 9'9".

Gronk was 9'11"

Malcolm Brown - 6'2", 319, 32.5" arms
Arik Armstead - 6'7", 292, 33" arms
Eddi Goldman - 6'4", 336lbs, 33 1/8" arms

Goldman's numbers are good.

Just put it on. Nice to see Gug involved in running the OL drills, getting that up close view of guys.

Jordan Phillips - 6'5", 329lbs, 34.75" arms
Danielle Hunter - 6'5", 252lbs, 34.25" arms - very nice
Bud Dupree - 6'4", 269lbs, 32 5/8" arms - Cross between Jamie collins and Hightower?

We knew about this from the Senior bowl but Joey Mbu was 6'3", 313lbs and 35" arms

He's going to be a favourite for a number of us by the end of the week:

Obum Gwacham - 6'5", 246lbs, 34 3/8" arms. Weight is very good.

Malcolm Brown - 6'2", 319, 32.5" arms
Arik Armstead - 6'7", 292, 33" arms
Eddi Goldman - 6'4", 336lbs, 33 1/8" arms

Goldman's numbers are good.

336#? Where did that come from? That's 15-20# higher than I expected. I'm not sure that's good.

And Mario Edwards at 279#? He reportedly played as high as 320# during the season.

I prefer Goldman at that weight, so long as it's good weight. He needs to be a 0 or 1-tech - that suits the higher weight.

@LRiddickESPN: Talking about Gregory as a 43 DE in the NFL is pointless, and always has been. Same with Shane Ray. They are 34 OLB's.

Max Valles 6'5" 251#. Shortish arms (32 5/8", same as Bud Dupree). 9 3/8" hands.
Bernardrick McKinney 6'4" 246#. 33" arms, 9" hands.

Love the long arms on Obum Gwacham and Danielle Hunter.

It's heavier than Jordan Phillips (329#), though. I'll be curious to see how Goldman moves. His movement and burst was part of what appealed to me about him.

Strange isn't it because I thought he was too much of a tweeter - didn't have the size for a NT, didn't have the speed for a 3-tech. I really like him at that weight for the Patriots so long as it's good because he can take on double teams better - the one thing that prevented me giving him a first round grade. Really looking forward to seeing him now. How ironic would it be if I move him up and you move him down?

You've got to be pleased with Hunter I would think.

Leonard Williams - 6050, 302, 34 5/8" arms

He's not falling out of the top 3.

Malcolm Brown - 6'2", 319, 32.5" arms
Arik Armstead - 6'7", 292, 33" arms

Goldman is bigger than I thought he would be. Ron Brace scared me so I have a hard time getting amped for big DL now... ****ing Ron Brace..

Marcus Hardison:

Right now my dream would be Gurley - Hardison - Marpet with the 1st 3 picks. I'd like to pick up an EDGE player in the late 3rd/early 4th, so I'm hoping for Max Valles or that Hunter falls.
