weighing air.. what? How much does a pound of air weigh anyhow?
Nothing...The while story stinks...an over inflated ball will be minutely heavier than an under inflated ball..."weighing" with a pressure gauge...maybe.

True. Either way, it's still a shame that one guy can make up a story and the entire world will run with it without waiting to see what's going on.

I'm seriously a bit surprised that the bar has been set so low.
Yet us filing a tampering grievance sees little play...

One of my first thoughts on the pat's game tonight was Simm's use of the word "deception." One pathetic piece of garbage used it in anger after he lost to the pats last week, and Simms uses the same language on another completely legit play this week.

Now some angry dumb-ass harms New England's reputation with this obviously false crap. We will be hearing about it for the next two weeks and beyond.

Each the case of angry morons that don't know the rules of the game.

I can only try to draw humor from this crap. I wonder how am nfl hearing on the matter would go. Perhaps "expert" testimony on the subject of shrinkage is needed:

Will the league also investigate the flag filled penalty driven Colts drive, and the one following where nothing was getting called on that Pats? Or are they just concerned when it seems someone other than the NFL is cheating? Are they only bothered by non authorized cheating?

I notice theres no mention of maybe the Colts might have done it to get an advantage. I think the whole thing is ridiculous, but it automatically is "The Pats cheating again". You can blame Kraft for this, for laying down on "Spygate". This will be around forever

Guys...Guys this is the wackiest claim I have ever heard of against our boys. I have been laughing ever since I first read that nutty tweet. No attribution just a way out kooky accusation.

Seriously...Bill has the folks hunched over letting air out of the balls. Balls that both teams use. Really? HahHahHah!!! The neckbeard, mouthbreather losers are psychotic if they believe this nonsense.

I recall that first kick by Gost kicking the ball very deep in the endzone...at least early in the game.

And per Mythbusters the pressure in the footballs is optimized for maximum distance, if i recall correctly. Anymore or less pressure and the footballs lose distance for both passes and kicks.

Another false-controversy where it's on the refs. Harbaugh complains about deception and everyone blames the NEP for it when it's on the refs to determine how much time to provide defenses for substitutions. Now, another set of refs should be receiving the criticism, but instead it's more ammunition for the haters.

Hey now...AV shanked that kick. Nevermind it was into a wind (flags straight towards him, the wind was doing this at both ends much of the night), from 50 yds out, and AV struggles from there in a dome...

Bob Kravitz? Is he pissed that Katy Perry invited Lenny to sing at the SB 49 halftime show and not him?

What a load.

Bask in the hate, gentlemen! We may never get to enjoy so many sore losers in our lifetime! hahahahahaha airgate. Hope this is on every headline, makes me enjoy it more :)

With a name like Kravitz you shouldn't be surprised.

Aaaand here it comes on Mike and Mike....we'll see what they say about it. What a fing joke

Check out @bkravitz's Tweet: https://twitter.com/bkravitz/status/557053826415755265?s=09

I dont know how trusting this guy is, but he is saying that league is investigating the Patriots for deflating footballs. They said they weighed the footballs and such. Giardi retweeted it also.

Oh crap, here we go with the Pats-as-cheaters meme. How clever of them to be able shuffle the differently inflated balls in and out during the game with no one noticing till the end. Wiley b@$tards.

From what I could see, the patriots definitely played with bigger balls than the colts so I guess it technically could mean the colts played with deflated balls.

And what did they have to say about this? Every place "reporting" this is just siting bob Kravitz. ...has anyone else actually reported this?

Each team gives the refs 12 balls before the game, then the home team has to supply another 12. With the rain and the way they the ball boys sub the balls in and out, it would be impossible to get a specific ball in play. Just another throw some random allegation up against the wall and hope it sticks!
