@jeffphowe: Jimmy Garoppolo is a completely different quarterback this week. Drastic improvements from a week ago.

At this point I doubt Butler makes it on the PS. You need to keep him on the 53 or lose him. Tyms is getting close to that too. The only reservation I still have about Tyms is he has not lit it up with Brady yet. From what I have read is Brady has not really thrown to him much in the limited snaps they have had.

There is still time left for that inquiring minds and eyes would like to know.;):cool:

Well, if Tyms is just getting reps with Brady it might take a few practices to get that connection he has with JGropps. Both Butler, and Tymes are lucky that suspensions should allow them to make the final roster as long as they continue to shine.

@ZackCoxNESN: Jimmy Garoppolo was money for the Pats today. Mallett, meanwhile, barely saw the field.

Supensions?? will Butler be suspended too?

@DougKyedNESN: Brady was 8-10 in 7v7s, 16-22 in 11v11s. Garoppolo 3-3 in 7v7s, 4-4 in 11v11s. Mallett 1-2 in 7v7s, 1-1 in 11s.

QB2 battle is heating up

Eagles writers basically saying that Eagles Offense had their way with Pats D.

Browner is suspended which opens up spot for Butler. Tyms is suspended so that frees him up for 53 during first 4 weeks.

Sounds like he gave up on the play.

Definitely going to have to deal with Belichick about that one. I would suspect that coach was none too happy about Revis giving up on the play.

Mallett might be hurt more then Patriots would inform about. That sayed, Jimmy G takes it and runs with it right now. WHO knows, Patriots might end up IR Mallett ;)

From some other tweets it was a very long play and Revis thought it was over.

Looks like Mallett is going to pack

For what? If you IR him he's done for the season, and this is his last year with the team. You gain nothing by IR'ing him, might as well cut him at that point.

Diabolical BB is having DC Patricia slip PEDs into Butler's Gatorade. Stashing him away for 4 games for the cuts to 53.

You still don't give up on a play. It will be a coaching moment for Belichick, I'm sure.
