MrNathan, if it's your work, nice job.
11-12
210 Yards
2 TD
Tyms was a TD.
If Jones catches the ball that's easily a 15 yard completion.
Which means his only incompletion would have been that wheel route that the 5'' 7" Roy Finch would have probably had if he was 3 inches taller.
Then he lost a couple more chances after Houston fumbled the football after that big gain
If he plays like that for the next 3 pre-season games, he's making the team.Wow, I missed the game and only saw the NFL.com "highlights", but wow. Jimmy G looked very good.
I really want to see him play against 2's next week playing WITH better players, too. ....also, damn, Tyms. I would love to keep him on the practice squad but if he keeps playing like he did in that game he'll easily get claimed when cut, unfortunately.

He's suspended the first 4 games anyways, so if theres an injury (which there always is) Tyms could have that roster spot.
yup. some people fail written tests, but you put them on the job hands-on and they can do it no problem.I didn't get to see the game, but I understand now why people were critical of Mallet after watching this video. Garoppolo is not only reasonably accurate for a first-timer, he's mobile, and appears to be going through his reads even under pressure. I don't know what people have seen in camp, but this game is really impressive, just from what we've seen. Maybe he's the kind of guy that rises to the level of the competition. (ie he got better in real-game situation)
