How do you explain the destroyed security system, the destroyed/disassembled phone, the cleaning crew, the fact that Hernandez was recently seen with the victim, and the proximity to AHern's house?

Security System could have been broken months ago.
The disassembled phone? People take phones apart all the time.
The cleaning crew? Gee. Many people have cleaning crews come to their house on a regular basis.

The proximity to Ahern's house? Hmm. I guess that means that Tedy Bruschi should be a suspect, right? It's close to his house as well..

Lloyd was daring the sister of Hernandez's Fiance'. That's why they were seen together recently. And, well, there are conflicting reports as to whether they were seen together Sunday night or not.

You sound like his lawyer. If he took the phone "apart"..they would be able to put it back together. And the security system they said was deliberately broken..not just broke from use...

You're a crappy lawyer

what if that's not Aaron Hernandez in the house ... what if he's been kidnapped by aliens who returned a body double to earth.

I'll pull a likelihood percentage out of my ass and say you're at < 1% likelihood. Sure, all of that could have happened, but come on.

Well, lots of folks are reaching in both directions, but the people using media inconsistency as evidence of anything are probably making the worst or silliest arguments.

This has got to be one of the most asinine things I've ever read. The media reports are where everyone is getting their information from to make all these ludicrous claims, one way or the other. So, if the media reports the incorrect facts or changes statements to sensationalize a story and they are wrong, they look pretty damn foolish. Just like FOX and ABC look pretty damn foolish for expounding for the last two days that an arrest warrant would be issued imminently and that Hernandez was going to be arrested for Obstruction. It's been BS. And FOX STILL incorrectly reported that Hernandez was going to be arrested during their 5 PM news even though the D.A.'s office had closed without issuing one..

Some think this forum is like a court room ...

They don't understand it's okay to throw an opinion out there.

Opinions are just that ... someone's point of view and it's okay to say them.

You're believing reports that have been clearly unreliable. I'd avoid insulting others in such a situation, if I were you.

Thanks for the compliment, but of what's been reported (leaving aside the circus atmosphere for the time being) the only thing I'm aware of that's not correct is the warrant/imminent arrest, but other reports say that a warring is written up, just not issued. What reason do we have to think that's not the case? Given what else has been reported it seems extremely likely that the DA is at least using it for leverage.

Who care's what you think the "likelihood" is. The cleaning crew statement is all but guaranteed or do you really think that someone with that large of a house cleans it on their own? The "relationship" between Lloyd and Hernandez was reported by the Globe (the only source that hasn't seemed to lead with erroneous information).

BTW, you do know that they announced that Lloyd was shot where he was found, right? So, the idea that the cleaning crew was called in to clean up the mess from the murder doesn't fly anymore..

As for the security system, do you know how many companies have their systems fail and don't bother to get them fixed? Better than 40% of the ones whose systems fail.

Outside of the timing of the warrant, what major fact that has been reported is unreliable, questionable, or refutable?

Do we really need to encourage more ill informed opinion? I think we have more than our fair share. People should be encouraged to listen more and share less.

If we are left to discuss only 100% verifiable facts then very few threads would exist in the forum or any forum for that matter. people should be free to air an opinion regardless if it is factual or not or somewhere in between ... we're not a court of law here are we?

You mean besides little things like "he was killed elsewhere, no he was killed at the dump site"?

If that is all you think that has been incorrect, then you haven't been paying attention.

1) They got wrong the type of vehicle that was being searched for. There are 3 different reports out there. One was a Chrysler 200 , One was a Chrysler 300, and lastly was a Chevy Suburban.

2) There are conflicting reports about the text that was sent by Lloyd to his friend. One report said it was when they were leaving the bar. Another just said when they were leaving. It didn't specify where they were leaving from. Were they leaving from Ahern's or from the bar or from somewhere else.

3) There is conflicting reports as to when Ahern last saw Lloyd. The initial report claimed it was Sunday Night/Monday. Another report claimed that it was actually Friday night/ Saturday.

Those are just off the top of my head, because there have been so many.

Do we really need to encourage more ill informed opinion? I think we have more than our fair share. People should be encouraged to listen more and share less.

so the forum has expert members that should be listened to before anyone else can post?

Not being a court of law means that people should endeavor to be complete idiots and spout nonsense based on contradictory reports which they take as gospel even after the contrary reports come in, when we're dealing with a crime as serious as murder?

We seem to differ on that position.

The timing of when AH was with OL.

Whether AH was cooperating or not cooperating with police.

Whether AH was a suspect or not a suspect.

Whether AH was in a shooting incident with a Jets fan

Whether AH was in a night club incident in Providence

How much more do you need?

It's a discussion forum ... those exist to discuss ... as in opinion and fact.

so if someone is wrong so what ... does not make them an idiot.

bet there are people in this forum who are wrong at times and smarter than almost everyone here

... it's called being human Deus - we're all imperfect and there's nothing wrong with that.

Unless of course we really are a court of law .... :rolleyes2:

as I told you before ... I can dig up many of your posts where you were wrong.

what does that make you by your definition?

Well, the investigation into the timing will clear that up very easily - was it scheduled or ad hoc? Simple question, simple answer.

Could be, but could also be that they were called in to clean up other evidence, so hard to draw conclusions unless you're rooting for a particular conclusion.

Fail by physical damage to the hard drive? Right....

But they didn't say WHEN the security system was broken. And the WHEN makes all the difference in the world.

BTW, You make a crappy poster, but we still love you..
