Sure, keep telling yourself that.

Good lord, You just proved how uninformed you are. I don't have to tell myself that. That is what would have happened. You blast people for speaking about what they don't know. Hey POT meet Kettle. SMDH

Aaron Hernandez: Warrant issued after surveillance footage showed him walking into his home just minutes after friend was shot 'execution-style' nearby | Mail Online

Update - News caster Elmer Fudd reports rabbit is not cooperating with police and an arrest warrant is being drafted.

Additional information coming in: Police unable to issue warrant to rabbit until he emerges from hole. Fox reporter Elmer Fudd claims rabbits lawyer advises him to grab a couple of carrots and lay low. ABC news has also confirmed this report.

Wow, you guys in Mass. take the right to a speedy trial seriously. When did the verdict come in?

He's got a lot of tattoos so he's "extra" guilty.

who cares if a Ravens fan is here? If I was a Ravens fan, I would be here too gloating. How many years of abuse did Ravens fans have to take over the murderer Ray Lewis...
So isn't it strange that the Ravens fans are espousing the "wait for the facts" philosophy, while quite a few alleged Pats fans already have Hernandez off the team and in prison, and are speculating on how the cap savings should be spent.

Ironic, ain't it?

In general, it's kinda weird how all of these Ravens fans are showing up (and nobody else).

Their team finally beats us on a meaningful stage and suddenly they're circling like vultures at every opportunity. Not that I'd expect any more from a fanbase that outright deifies a felon who probably murdered someone.
The only vultures I see on this thread are Pats fans (or so they claim). BTW, Ray Lewis isn't a felon. Just more wishful thinking on your part. Kind of vulture-like, I'd say.

I'm not so blind/uninformed that I think Lewis obstructed justice for no reason at all.

The difference, since you're apparently too dense to see it for yourself, is that Lewis actually had a trial. There are a ton of known facts that indicate that he was there and knows a lot more than he said about the crime, and that there's a very good chance that he committed the murder himself.

Ever figure out where that suit of his went?

It may be "speculative" but as its been reported by all the media outlets, and not disputed by anyone, I'll take the fact that multiple reports state that the home surveillance system was "intentionally destroyed" as basis to admit that potential evidence was indeed destroyed...

That's a really stupid approach, as has been proven time and time again.

the point was about contract termination and the possibility of the pats recouping $$ and avoiding a cap hit

his association with this event has pretty much ended his career with the pats......this brand of stupidity has no spot on a roster

Except for the fact that nothing that mentioned in the NFL Personal Conduct Policy mentions that the Pats can terminate his contract. I am pretty sure that can only be done if there was a morals clause in his contract.

Right now you're doing 1+1 = 3.

I first saw that photo on the dailymail site (a british publication) no idea if they got it from somewhere else.

Interesting....I admittedly could be wrong but reports hadn't mentioned the Recycling Center as where the body was found.

Only reason I know that the picture in question is circling the RC is because I go there just about every weekend :)

There's a lot of fail going on in this thread. Props to you for being a more reasonable voice.

at least the timing of this allows the pats to do their own diligence in order to minimize the impact on their preparations for the upcoming season.......

I don't believe you will ever see AH suit up as a patriot again......in fact, they're probably already redrawing their schemes to exclude him.......

if he dons the patriots uniform again, the 'patriot way' as the world has come to know it, will be dead

Maybe this whole 2 TE formation was a bad idea from the start.

Looking outside of Hernandez's potential criminal status, has the system put up huge numbers?? Of course. But at the end of the day, you need to throw the ball outside the numbers and get the ball down the field. In games where it mattered most (i.e. the SB) our offense would either fail us because someone had the game plan to stop our system, or one of the TE's would go down and we had nothing else to turn to. We've become too reliant on our TE's. Look, the 2 TE set has been revolutionary from the start, but I don't know if it's a recipe for winning titles. I know more important things are on the line with the Hernandez situation. But who as a Pats fan can't help but look at what this offense will look like moving forward without Hernandez??

He actually pled guilty of obstruction to justice.

Not really, considering that there's 2 of you and most of the Pats fans here are espousing the exact same thing.

Thanks jb - and again for the record, I really wish this was not happening and among the statements that I have made included what was going to be found on the video surveillance at his house.

When it was reported and verified by two media organizations each independently working their sources connected to this investigation that his video surveillance hard drive was damaged then that was it for me because Hernandez impeded the law enforcement investigation and that is something that you do not do if you are innocent and for those that don't have enough common sense to know that should find the bleacher seats because that is where the belong.

If there is one thing that I cannot stand it is those that have been on this thread for four days acting like a bunch of pom poms thinking that Hernandez has done nothing wrong.

Wake and smell the ******* coffee pom poms.

I know right!, I may not know all the facts and many of the items being reported could indeed be false, but when multiple media outlets independently confirm that video tapes possibly containing evidence have been destroyed, it makes my red flags jump up. An innocent man would not do that period. This situation reeks and fails the smell test.

I loved AH, thought he was a good guy, know he is paramount to the Offense and wish none of this was happening at all, but my common sense kicked in yesterday afternoon. I realize that without AH, Gronk(probably not starting the season IMO) and Welker, we could be in some trouble. Brady is good, but I doubt he is Godlike, he needs to have some form of consistency to keep performing at a high level..

The LAST thing we needed was for AH to get into trouble, the last thing I wanted was for AH to get into trouble, but I am a damn realist and realize we have to start looking at life after Aaron...hopefully the FO feels the same way and starts preparation for that existence sooner than later...

This utterly ******ed pom poms meme notwithstanding...

...you're tilting at windmills, as has been pointed out to you numerous times by numerous posters. So, at this point, it seems like an intellect/comprehension deficit rather than anything else.

Having having two tight ends leads one of them to kill! Don't do it other teams, don't do it!
