See: Ray Lewis. Obstructing justice was just about the smartest thing that he ever did; very likely that it's the reason why he isn't in prison today.

Wrong

He could have gone to court with his 2 buddies and walked with nothing.

No, it's not a fact. It's a claim being made by some, and nothing more, at this point.

destroying possible evidence is a fact - he was with the victim that night and he destroyed evidence that proved he was with the victim or the perps that night.

Spoliation of evidence - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The spoliation of evidence is the intentional or negligent withholding, hiding, altering, or destroying of evidence relevant to a legal proceeding.[1] Spoliation has two possible consequences: in jurisdictions where the (intentional) act is criminal by statute, it may result in fines and incarceration for the parties who engaged in the spoliation; in jurisdictions where relevant case law precedent has been established, proceedings possibly altered by spoliation may be interpreted under a spoliation inference.

The spoliation inference is a negative evidentiary inference that a finder of fact can draw from a party's destruction of a document or thing that is relevant to an ongoing or reasonably foreseeable civil or criminal proceeding: the finder of fact can review all evidence uncovered in as strong a light as possible against the spoliator and in favor of the opposing party.

The theory of the spoliation inference is that when a party destroys evidence, it may be reasonable to infer that the party had "consciousness of guilt" or other motivation to avoid the evidence. Therefore, the factfinder may conclude that the evidence would have been unfavorable to the spoliator. Some jurisdictions have recognized a spoliation tort action, which allows the victim of destruction of evidence to file a separate tort action against a spoliator.[2]

Icy - Where did you get the photo labeling AH's home and the Industrial Park?

The area circled as the "Industrial Park" is actually the NA Recycling Center on Mt. Hope.

Original reports had the Industrial Park in question as being on John Dietsch Blvd....which is South East of AH's home (and wouldn't be viewable on that picture as it is further away) and is not Southwest of AH's home as indicated.

Has the location of the crime been changed (or even confirmed yet)?

Sorry for not quoting Icy's post here...couldn't actually find it.

What a mess.

I first saw that photo on the dailymail site (a british publication) no idea if they got it from somewhere else.

why is a ravens fans here? why do you care?

some kind of post ray lewis traumatic stress disorder?

Don't law firms usually issue statements for public figures if there's any suspicion (in other words, I didn't think being officially arrested was necessary.) Why none so far?

Probably because he's... GUILTY!

who cares if a Ravens fan is here? If I was a Ravens fan, I would be here too gloating. How many years of abuse did Ravens fans have to take over the murderer Ray Lewis...

Sir,

You may need to break that down a little better.

Amazing that it had to be done.

why did he destroy his cell phone?
All the police need to do is ask NSA for their phone records on
him and his friends.

the rest of life must be pretty unfulfilling

You're confusing reports of what may, or may not have happened, with what's actually happened, and doing so without knowing whether any such actions the may/may not have happened were even done with the purpose you're claiming.

In other words, your initial claim is not factual, but speculative.

It may be "speculative" but as its been reported by all the media outlets, and not disputed by anyone, I'll take the fact that multiple reports state that the home surveillance system was "intentionally destroyed" as basis to admit that potential evidence was indeed destroyed...

ok.....where to start.....what did AH break?

He is toast.......regardless of outcome.......guilt by association in something like this is more than sufficient cause......say goodbye to him...his simply being there is sufficient damnation

Yes, Hernandez is likely in trouble with the league. That being said, could you please point out where it says that the Pats can terminate his contract??? Unless the league banishes him, which would be against every precedent already set in the league, right now he's looking at probation, fines, and counseling.

Wow, you guys in Mass. take the right to a speedy trial seriously. When did the verdict come in?

Those fireworks you thought you heard last night, guess what light goes off in your head when you hear there was a murder nearby the next morning.

Except the body wasn't found until the afternoon..

In general, it's kinda weird how all of these Ravens fans are showing up (and nobody else).

Their team finally beats us on a meaningful stage and suddenly they're circling like vultures at every opportunity. Not that I'd expect any more from a fanbase that outright deifies a felon who probably murdered someone.

I am with you belicheck010405. I am looking at the reality of this situation based on what is being reported. i am forming my conclusions with the knowledge that some of the reports may not be entirely accurate.

You called them pom pom fans, I like that..I'll call them homers with blinders on sipping up all the kraft kool-aid.

Oh and Andy, FYI OJ was found NOT GUILTY in a court of law yet we all know he did it...

AH is involved in this, in a negative manner, either directly or indirectly and WILL BE ARRESTED TODAY. I'll say I told you so as soon as I see it happen but trust me you, it will happen, and it will happen soon.

Thanks jb - and again for the record, I really wish this was not happening and among the statements that I have made included what was going to be found on the video surveillance at his house.

When it was reported and verified by two media organizations each independently working their sources connected to this investigation that his video surveillance hard drive was damaged then that was it for me because Hernandez impeded the law enforcement investigation and that is something that you do not do if you are innocent and for those that don't have enough common sense to know that should find the bleacher seats because that is where the belong.

If there is one thing that I cannot stand it is those that have been on this thread for four days acting like a bunch of pom poms thinking that Hernandez has done nothing wrong.

Wake and smell the ******* coffee pom poms.
