Unless the deal is fully-guaranteed then it is not a situation where saying '37 year old Welker isn't worth 11m' is accurate because if the deal is only partially guaranteed - and you know it is - then it's the guaranteed money that matters, every thing else after that is optional or restructure fodder.

The sad thing is that anyone who might contribute close to as much as Welker will cost about as much as he will.
As you have said before, anyone who can contribute close to as much as Lloyd will cost more than Lloyd.
The BOTTOM LINE is that if we replace Welker and Lloyd, it will likely cost us more money for hopefully the same, but more likely less production.
