Where does a 6-11, 500-pound football player play? Anywhere he wants to (video) | Off the Bench

“House” has a simple job on defense — take up space. An offense can’t block, what an offense can’t see. “If they can’t see the linebackers, they don’t where they coming from, the offensive linemen,” said Ron Kerr, the owner and head coach of the Piranha. “He has to be double-teamed. He’s too big not to be.”

Said Taylor:

“Don’t run my way; pretty much that’s what I do (on defense),” said Taylor.

 With a boy that size, we could run a 1-4 defense.

After watching the video, it seems like he's physically incapable of running.

Kid looks like he can barely run 3 yards without having a heart attack.

My friends and I have an ongoing debate on the merits of adding pro wrestler The Big Show to an NFL roster. Hes past his prime now, but used to be pretty athletic for his size (7', 440lbs per wikipedia).

Some random thoughts - I was told once that Andre the Giant tried out and it went terribly... Mr. House looks like a knee injury waiting to happen... Finesse guys can probably throw him aside since he lacks balance... On the other hand, remember Terdell Sand?

Kill it with fire.

I had wondered if a Sumo wrestler could be a good NT they are big, strong, have good hands, understand leverage. Not sure of their endurance though.

You're right about the sumo thing. It has been tried (Redskins, I think) and they don't have the endurance...their matches are short.
