Giants inj rep...DNP: Bradshaw (foot); LP: Herzlich (ankle), Manning (illness), Tuck (shoulder), Umenyiora (ankle/knee), Webster (hamstring)

and then:

My understanding is that Eli Manning has been sent home for the day, which makes sense, given how those things can spread.

I don't think the Giants are going to win in SF.

The 49ers are 14-3...have beaten down New Orleans already and have beaten the Giants before and yet are getting absolutely no respect at all,in fact the media is portraying them as an underdog instead of a home team and the favorite.

This game may actually not be even close....The 49ers will win.

The Giants need to be near 100% healthy to have a chance.

Add the Giants themselves to the list of those failing to give respect to the 49ers.

Heh!:

The Giants have confirmed that Eli Manning's stomach bug is, indeed, elite.

The Giants had to fly home from Green Bay and then will need to fly to the West coast, likely on Friday. Short week plus a cross-country trip after a night game on the road on Sunday.

I like SF's chances.
