Haha, I was thinking more along the lines of Arlen Specter but I guess one of these will have to do.

I hope you're right, but I'll believe it when I see it.

The Jets themselves need to get dinged somehow too on top of what they are fining the coach. Responsibility for the coaches falls on the shoulders of the organization itself.

This is a cover up. This was directed from the top and he is taking a fall. They can't fire him or he will turn them in. The NFL needs to investigate. They were all told to stand there and get in the way.

I agree, though I'm not sure if Rex made the order. He'd probably rather order a pizza for a GD snack. But perhaps Mike Westhoff did.

I do not disagree, if you have an organization whose focus is to inflict pain on an opposing team rather than win games, this stuff is going to happen. Bet you that if they go back and investigate, this incident is not isolated.

I hope they bring it up every day, and fatso and his coaching crew continue to embarass that organization.. sooner or later they will f.. up again. They do that well, along with running their big mouths..

+1, and the fine is chicken-bleep. He isn't a player, the Jets can just kick back the lost money to him if they want to.

I love how the Jets added "including the post-season" to the suspended for the rest of the year.

Like there is going to be a postseason for the Jets after this monumental collapse that is underway.

Yes and no. How much does a strength and conditioning coach make? $100k, $200k? $25k is a pretty good portion of whatever he is making. Plus; does he lose a pro-rated portion of his salary the way players are suspended do?

On the other hand I agree it would be very easy to kick money back to him. If somebody else ordered and organized those guys to form that wall, they surely want to Alosi happy and in their good graces, and keep him from speaking up.
