Default World Series

Did anyone see the game last night? That was one of the most insane games I have ever seen. The emotions were moving up and down like a roller coaster. I wanted Texas to win, I am not a LaRussa fan. I like Washington and seeing Beltre get a ring would be cool. Game 7 is going to be amazing.

It was quite a game, but the incredible ending is masking that fact that for about 7 innings is was an embarassment that this was a World Series game which is supposed to represent baseball at its best.

It reminds me an awful lot of Pudge Fisk in 1975. I don't see how the Rangers bounce back after last night. Of course, since I'm using 1975 as an analogy, it should be noted that despite Pudge's heroics that night, a depleted Red Sox team didn't finish the deal in game 7.

I flipped it on in the top of the 9th after I had ran through a bunch of stuff I had recorded on my DVR.

Perfect timing.

It is hard to believe that Nelson Cruz is a major league outfielder.
