Damon was a warrior who consistently played through pain and when he was only 50% healthy.

That's a pretty harsh reaction to Damon, if it's just because he signed with NY after Boston.

Maybe DL Drew, Beckett, and the rest of the infirmary will toughen up after adding Johnny Damon.
