The Bombers just lost two out of three to the Nationals, at home no less.
I wouldn't go there as we've got to play them on the road next week.
That said, it's fvcking hysterical.

Hmmm...well according to the logic of a poster in this forum, the Sox are all done, since they lost last night (OMFG 2 in a row! Where's the Tobin!). They might as well not show up to the park the rest of the season. The Yankees are awesome again, cuz they beat Florida in their most recent game (game 67 out of 162), and Toronto is brutal, cuz they lost to the stinkin Nationals! I honestly don't know why the league bothers with a 162 game schedule. Season over fellas.
Forget Tampa too. They're 0-1 in their last 1 game. Season's toast.

To be honest, the Red Sox DID lose back to back to two sh1t teams, getting a grand total of 3 hits in those two games.
Granted the Marlins game was called after six innings, but I'm just saying................

Yeah, I'm worried sick about them; here comes the "little train that could", the 200 million dollar cinderalla Yankees, fresh off their sweep of the triple A Mets.

I was down in Tampa this past week and watched a lot of the Rays. The Yankees should be worried, because really soon the Rays will overtake them and never look back.
Frank from Gloucester was on EEI the other day and said he's not worried about the Yankees pitching come playoff time because all you need in the playoffs is three good pitchers and they've got that right now. Playoffs? It would help Frank if you were leading the division, which you are not.
He also went on to say the Yankee bullpen has really turned it around lately and "I think (or in his case, "I tink") they are as good as the Red Sox bullpen is right now."
Have to love that toothless fool.................
