Default Late round/UDFA CB prospect

I was looking at Gil Brandt's Purdue Pro-Day recap, and came across a Rhode Island prospect. Here's a guy with good size/speed, and great test results. PS squad candidate. If we can turn this athlete who plays football into a football player, we might have something. Great upside.

Raquan Pride CB Pride (5-11 ¼, 195 pounds) ran his 40s in 4.49 and 4.55. He also had a 38 ½-inch vertical jump, 10-foot-5 long jump, 4.35 short shuttle, 6.95 three-cone drill and 17 bench presses.

I saw that too in the pro day results. There are actually a few guys like that that I saw, IIRC.

Kind of makes you wonder how possible it is to take a good athlete with a good attitude and just coach him until he's a good player.

Some of it's natural though. I don't think Samuel was that fast but he seems to have natural ball skills.
