I knew it!

Another ingenius ploy by the Pats to make the Ravens forget about Woody, and so they won't practice schemes for him and Woody will be set free out of the backfield for two receiving touchdowns!

Excellent.

Not underestimating Woody nor down playing his injury but with his BIG heart makes him even more dangerous. DW will know how far he can go and JMac will incorperate him as he sees fit. If Woody holds on that ball with no problem Ravens LBs will be in for long day with his quickness & speed into their secondary especially in 3rd & 4th Quarters when Raven's D gets fatigued.

I can't imagine how much it would hurt to catch a bullet from Brady with an already traumatized thumb. Pro footballers are a special breed

How about Brandon Bolden? He was beasting before his suspension. If Woodhead is not 100%, would it be effective to use Bolden as a 3rd back?

Was he active for the Texans game? (though I don't think he got any snaps) His recent absence might make it harder for Ravens DC to gameplan for him. Thoughts?

I'm with you. Bolden can definitely be used in this game if Woodhead isn't 100 %! We just never knows what the PATS gameplan is going to be. They're very unpredictable in their approach to each game. NE's unpredictability is what makes them so scary!

Woody's loss will be minimal provided SV can play steady+ a la the Texans game. If he gets the yips like he did against the 9ers and we are in need of some rock solid play then not having Woody will hurt. Either way, if he can't go, SV is going to have to step up his blitz pickup. That is a HUGE responsibility that can have serious effects on the offense without it.
