Default *****ty Head Ref Gives Texans 3 Fugazi Points

The head ref must have got paid a lot of foreign money on this game! Plenty of bad calls. But, the one that really is blatant was the field goal that never should have been.

The Texans ran out the clock, but Tony said to put 2 extra seconds on the clock (WTF????). This alone was BS. That field goal never should have been.

Oh come on, of all the calls in the game to complain about, this is not one of them. The play was whistled dead with just over a second to play, and the Texans took a timeout immediately. They absolutely had time for the field goal. I'm not all that torn up about them putting 2 seconds on the clock instead of 1.

I don't know how players show so much restraint out there. After that "foreword progress" bs on the fumble I wanted to grab one of those clowns by the neck. That was as clean as a strip you'll see and it was almost instantaneous on the tackle. Its also funny how a whistle never blew immediately and only after it was clear possession was lost and there was a huge pile did that ******* come running in pointing to the ground.

Of all the lousy calls in this game......this wasn't one of them. That was the correct call, and it was very obvious on the CBS replay.

The replay I saw the clock was at 0 before a whistle was blown... One of the many unacceptable calls that could've blew the game.

On the special teams play, there was an obvious hold. The Texans guy was giving a Pats player a bear hug block. Maybe that is how you do it now.

No, it should have been called.

Terrible refs were on the field today.

I think when you hear the audio track it seems pretty clear that the WHISTLE YOU HEAR came AFTER the clock struck 0. ....BUT, they also said that Schaub had clearly discussed with the ref before the play and you could see on replay he tried to call the timeout BEFORE THE MAN WAS DOWN and then again once he was DOWN. so i think the timeout was actually called in backfield while the mics were aimed at the tackle point downfield.

So while the audio track makes you believe it was a bad call; I think was a good one. I am more peeved that the Pats couldnt burn more time on offense and get one single first down.

Also agree that there were plenty of OTHER ??? calls; Funny how IMO they mostly seemed to revolve around the LINESMEN. (seemingly every ball spot was adv-Hou and blowing the whistle on the fumble on the perimeter) Although the non-holding calls (notably on the TD to Posey when Wilfork was SO OBVIOUSLY being HELD FROM BEHIND) was also just sickening. But I thought the head ref was relatively fair; he just had to deal with guys subordinate who if they blow the whistle he has to call the play dead - regardless.

If you're going to complain about anything it should be the fumble that was recalled on the grounds of forward progress. That was Fail Mary standard officiating.

One of many. The point was that the refs sucked tonight. Someone said that Tony was one of the best refs in the NFL. I don't want to see the worst.
