I don't want all of that circus and drama show interfering with this team.
He seems like a really standup guy, and a human being that offers a lot to this world, which can't be said about everyone.
He also seems like a good athelete on some level, although I'm not exactly sure where that level is specifically besides maybe a tough runner/blocker.
Either way I don't think that he would really offer much of anything that we either don't already have, or couldn't get elsewhere for a much easier tradeoff.

you don't have to be an expert to see certain things, but it would help if you actually looked......his actual throwing mechanics are fine.....over the top with a release point more than 8ft off the ground. if you were actually trying to do something more than being critical of someone because you simply don't like that, you'de realize that his inconsistencies have to do with his footwork more than his throwing mechanics. his release is quick enough and his throwing motion is consistent enough. his problems basically reside with him moving around and then setting his feet poorly. he has a tendency to lock his front leg and raise his back leg off the turf before the ball was out of his hand.....balance issues causing the ball to sail.
there was a thread on this last summer......you said there that he has all kinds of different releases without ever getting into details......please do

OTOH, Mallett moves in different ways over and over. If you feel like digging you’ll see that on one throw he’ll hit a receiver perfectly but other times he’ll miss wildly on a pretty short pass. If you don’t believe me look at his college tape and pre-season snaps.
This is one reason I don’t like strong armed QBs, how much ego do they have wrapped up in that strong arm? Are they really going to take criticism on what they feel is their greatest strength, especially from someone who can’t throw nearly as well as they can?
Brady sought out guidance on throwing mechanics and still does. McElroy strikes me as the type who would take direction and I think AJ McCarron would as well. It doesn’t appear that Mallett has and I wouldn’t bet on him doing so any time soon.

1. Easy on the condesending comments. If you disagree with me then state your case but the snide comments will get you no where.
2. What you talk about is distinction without difference, suppose it's not his mechanics but poor footwork accounting for the ball not going where it's supposed to, guess what? THE BALL ISN'T GOING WHERE IT'S SUPPOSED TO!
While I disagree with you on that being the only issue it doesnt matter, he's not consistently accurate, you've made my case for me. I'd hope a guy at his stage in a football career would work like crazy on his fundamentals so that he's spot on but he is either unwilling or incapable or doing so.
