Lightbulb Scouting Report: A Quick Look at The Texans Offense

Scouting Report: A Quick Look at The Texans Offense
By: Ian Logue

With Monday's game creeping closer, here's a quick look at the Houston Texans' offense, including a couple of plays from their win over the Tennessee Titans....

Nice article. Schaub wasn't as accurate as he usually is against the tAcks. Kubiak also went into what we call "turtle mode" fairly early in the game. He tends to get very conservative with his playcalling when we have a lead. It's fair to say that nothing gives Kubiak heartburn like turnovers do. I also think that's why Schaub was as inaccurate as he was. He was trying to put the ball where only our guy could get it.

I can't wait to read your breakdown of the D.

That was a good breakdown.

I really enjoyed the read.

The Texans offense went into a funk in the second half, despite the effort of the D.

A few untimely penalties didn't help.
Can't afford to play like that against the Pats.
