Default Dolphins waive Jabar Gaffney

I know there was a lot of whining when the Dolphins signed him. Do people still want him back? If the Pats don't want him now, then they probably never will.

He had 4 receptions for 68 yards before hurting his knee. He also had at least one very bad drop that would have been a TD.

Yep. Will remain to be seen if we try and claim him or kick the tires again if he clears. Should have been a fit but I have a feeling there was more amiss there on this return than mere injury.

Meh. Hes still a functional #4 or #5. You don't go from having the best statistical year of your career to being out of football the next.

I agree with Mo, something else is up with Gaff.

If he's healthy, I'd be all for it. We're pretty banged up in the WR/TE dept

I wouldn't say we're banged up at WR. Definitely banged up at the TE depth. However, I do think signing a WR wouldn't be a bad thing to cut the TE's some slack, but Gaffney wouldn't be that guy if he's also banged up.

There's a reason why Mia cut him.

Heck Was cut him. We'ar the same team that had ten passes dropped in a single game and he wasn't good enough to stay with the Skins.

Signing him to bolster the receiving. Corp is like putting a band aid on a gun shot wound. Gaffney is not that good. He's a journeyman at best.

He's not healthy. No thanks. Rather re-sign Branch if we need someone.
