I mentioned both the 2008 and 2009 incidents. There was NO incident in 2010. 2010 was when Herr Goodell gave Talib the 1 game suspension from the 2009 incident. The only thing I got wrong was that the shooting incident was on March 21st. I thought it was in December of 2010 and that it took them until March to issue the warrant. Whoopee..
Nothing you posted contradicts the fact that Talib had all charges dropped in the shooting case because the witness is a sex offender with severe credibility issues and was just arrested AGAIN for indecency with a child.
Now, as for the Adderall, it was a procedural thing. He didn't file the prescription with the league the way he's supposed to. The same thing that Spikes did. Newsflash. Spikes is still taking the adderall. He has been for years. He was open about it during the combine.
So, no, every single year it isn't something. But, you keep on thinking otherwise. Especially since nothing he's done has earned him a felony conviction like Donte Stallworth. Or two DUIs that show a complete disregard for the community around you.

This is too much. I thought I had seen your homerism at its peak.

Yes.

I didnt say it was wrong to question the Patriots, I said expecting Aqib Talib or any football player to be your daughters role model is wrong.

Pretty wild case in the March 2011 gun play. Somebody must have fired some shots or the police wouldn't have arrested people. It reads like the Brandon Merriweather case. Lots of chaos, gunshots, police trying to sort the mess out and arrested the most famous and physically imposing guy at the scene. The DA wouldn't have dropped the case if the evidence were indisputable. Goodell is a hardass lawyer, and he wouldn't have dropped it if the state had a decent case. Talib will have a short leash.

You did get your facts wrong and that is not my fault- it is yours. Saying that I went out of my way to prove you wrong is ridiculous. Spare me. Get over yourself. It took all of 30 seconds to determine that your facts were wrong and determine you believe that Talib is a poorly misunderstood individual.
Procedural issue? LOL. If you think he took Adderall because the only reason he has ADD then you don't get why athletes and college kids take it in the first place.
Explain him beating the crap out of the cab driver? Going nuts on the ref? He rookie teammate? Regardless if the sister's BF was a scumbag, he still has a screw loose and has anger management issues regardless of how far apart the events are.

You have your issues mixed up. For the cab driver, they reached a settlement out of court and he was suspended for a game.

He gets a pass on this but according to league sources, he was almost suspended for a game. The ref also went postal on Talib so the issues evened out.

Couldn't agree more. I'm cool with BB giving him a clean slate and within reason people getting second chances in life. But for folks to think hes a victim of circumstances, a foolish kid or just has buzzards luck and he doesn't have some issues has their head in the sand.

I was checking out PP and chevss454 posted that he heard from a Pats beat writer that the Pats got permission to speak with Talib before the trade and that he is thrilled to be coming to the Pats and getting a fresh start. I hope that means that an extension is in the works.

As I mentioned much earlier in this thread, I've watched many, many Bucs game cuz they are always broadcast here locally. Talib is one of the most physically imposing CB's in the league, combine that with his very aggressive style and you have a immediate upgrade to our squad. I can't wait to see how he looks on our team. If he brings his A game and stays outta trouble we will all be screaming for a LT contract for him, but we'll just have to see how it all turns out after the season is over, but this guy CAN play and he is gonna help our secondary a LOT!

A buddy of mine that lives in TB says that his play has dropped off in recent years and the numbers tend to show that. In the few times I've seen him play he looks pretty damn good to me. Your thoughts?

And according to him "Pats are really happy with the Talib acquisition. Their plan is to use Talib and McCourty at CB if/when Chung and Gregory get healthy so long as Chung pledges to do his job and quits guessing/gambling with a fall back plan of McCourty at S with Talib and Dennard at CB. Wilson and Arrington for depth and nickel/dime."
