Saints wanted him to be solid at all 3 interior positions. He's 6' 4" 300 lbs. But he wasn't really up to it. He's a Center.

I figure BB got a good close look when they were practicing w/ the Saints. I see back-up Center, and then take over Center if Connolly has to move or gets hurt.

This roster isn't anywhere near done.
We now have too many OL, so one must go (assuming Waters returns) we are overloaded at DL/LB and short 2 WRs. Not to mention the 4 TE thing is dubious at best. One too many corners also.....

One of the media people speculated that the Patriots might use the new IR rule on Shianco on Tuesday.

This is terrific. A big young interior lineman adds solid depth. Good college background at BC and nice experience in the pros with the Saints.

I wonder how the decorations are doing in Brian Waters' locker. Maybe some BC balloons?
